Return to Oz is a great movie. I remember as a kid kind of shocked that Disney showed it
Any reason why these other books never got made into a movie

I think I'm one of the only people in the world that didn't find the Wheelers terrifying

Also I have only seen the ads for Emerald City and I thought it looked absolutely terrible...

The books are so unique. It is almost a pity that no one will adapt them properly because the '39 movie is so renowned. Don't get me wrong, I love the '39 movie, but Return to Oz was a step in the direction to be like the books, it's just a shame that it had such a mixed reaction because I also like it a lot.
Now that Oz Great and Powerful movie? Had a couple good moments, but was pretty damn underwhelming, much like how I feel about almost all of Raimi's work.

Also I have only seen the ads for Emerald City and I thought it looked absolutely terrible... A "realistic" fairy tale where you have to figure out who's who? Sounds like a certain first season of a certain show.

Also I have only seen the ads for Emerald City and I thought it looked absolutely terrible... It's alright. Nothing groundbreaking or amazing, but it's decent. Vincent D'Onofrio does a great job.
