Both franchises dished out a bunch of movies(more than any they probably should have) but each were popular. Which franchise did you enjoy the most and would you like to see either come back. (Technically Saw had an ending but could come back)

For me, I choose Saw. Just because I found the characters and the story more interesting. Although I was extremely pissed when they killed off my favorite character in Agent Strahm after only one film. He was literally the most perfect, badass, and intelligent protagonist that was the perfect foil to Hoffman.
But in all honesty I definitely will always choose Saw. Better story, better acting(in my opinion), and rumor has it that an 8th one titled Saw: Legacy is coming out this year.

Saw
IMO it is just a better overall series...characters , story , deaths etc.
Final Destination though I loved the first one but then never cared for the rest of the series and when they tried to create some sort of over arching story apart from DEATH IS COMING it was too late to really mean anything.

Tough one. I thought the first 3 were really good films but never cared for the rest. Final Destination I've enjoyed them all but (other than FD:1) I don't think any of them are as good as the first 3 Saw films.
I'll go with Saw. Quality over quantity.

I can remember every Saw movie individually.
Final Destination, I know I've seen one or two of them but they were so forgettable that I don't even recall what they were about or what actors even were in them.

Saw 1 puts it over the top for me.

the first Saw is a legitimately great horror film and its first sequel's pretty damn good too. afer that it got way too convoluted and silly whilst increasingly seeming self-important. Final Destination is ALWAYS dumb but it's also always kinda fun, even the lousy 4th one.

They are both good to me. But I gotta give the edge to Saw. Like stated above it had better story and characters. Every FD had a form of your horror victim cliche it seemed.

Definitely Saw. The first Final Destination was alright but as it went on it became increasingly dumb and the characters increasingly unlikable. The special effects also got worse and worse whereas Saw at least always had good visuals going for it.
Plus like I said, the first FD was only alright, it was still fairly standard teen horror fare, with only the concept of "Death itself as the kilelr" to set it apart from the rest, and that was the best one in the series. The first Saw is a masterpiece in my opinion, especially due to very likeable protagonists whose flaws don't make them bad people and even the villain was layered and believable. It remained a better franchise in general. As awful as the last two Saw films were, they were still head and shoulder above the majority of the Final Destination films in my opinion. Oh and I still say Saw IV was almost as good as the original.
Also, the concept behind Final Destination really only works for a single movie. By design, the sequels can only repeat what the original did with the audience having to wait for the new characters to catch up to them on how this stuff works, which is very tedious and frustrating.

Saw
As some have said better story/Characters/Deaths, The only one of that series I didn't like was the last one.
Destination 1&2 are good but 3 onwards I'm not fond of

Final Destination had many brutal (and "fun") death moments.
Saw had Tobin Bell.
So, Saw.

Not into either really, but Final Destination's Mousetrap-like gimmick is more interesting to me.

Not into either really, but Final Destination's Mousetrap-like gimmick is more interesting to me. Final Destination has the whole you can't escape death which is sort of cool considering Death is its own character while Saw has its own system of bad guys think they are serving a purpose. Tho in saying that it's still kind of crazy they pumped out 7 and about to be 8 movies off the same concept. The movies really got tied together now because of the new jigsaws.

I have seen the first 4 films in both franchises.
Saw-Great first film and goes downhill after that. The story got way to convoluted and felt like it was being made up as filming was happening.
Final Destination-After the first 2 films this series went way downhill.
I have to go with Saw,just cause of how great that first film was. Too bad it became another franchise milked to death by the studios.
