What I mean is what actors can you name had started to "feel their hype" and demand more money, try to get creative freedom or just became a pain to work with.
Terrence Howard is first I can think of in regards to Iron Man where he demanded more money. Edward Norton falls into that category as well with when it came to Avengers.
I can't think of any TV show examples at the moment

I heard the actor from the Marine movies called The Miz is a huge diva, and has to have yellow m&m's removed and his bottled water has to be chilled to an exact cold temperature.Even 1 degree over and he will throw the bottles at Production Assistants.

Most recently Shameless had an unclear future because Emmy Rossum demanded equal pay to William H Macy.

I don't agree with some of the examples. Terrence Howard didn't ask for more money, he was the highest paid from Iron Man. They wanted him to take the pay cut. And Emmy Rossum is the star of Shameless, the whole show is centered on her since the first season. I'm a fan of William H. Macy, but he's not the star of the series.
Some production assistant stories from friends, Sarah Michelle Gellar wouldn't leave her trailer without a Starbucks coffee. Except the studio doesn't pay for Starbucks coffee and instead the crew had the PA's buy her coffee and never got compensated back. Ben Stiller is more a weirdo, he likes to have the PA's stand beside him and hold his coffee.

David Caruso. NYPD Blue.
I heard a story that after ABC booted him, to show other actors that they ain't shit, if they were the "star" or not, they had a picture of Caruso on the door inside the ABC president's office.
If somebody came in demanding more money and trying to pull the diva stuff, they top guy would tell them, "There's the door." And when they turned around, there was David Caruso's picture.
Basically saying they didn't care who you were or who you thought you were, they didn't run things.
I thought that was a cool story.

As a fan of Shameless I can say for sure Emmy may be the "main" character, but my God is she the least interesting and most worthless in the bunch. Franks shenanigans are the backbone of the show.

I can't think of any TV show examples at the moment Norton's problem isn't money or fame, he's always said he would hate to be the kind of actor that couldn't ride a subway in New York. Norton is just a pain in the ass to work with, a lot of times he does help with rewrites with the script, but it normally ends up with some kinda of drama behind the scenes with either the director, other writers or the studio.

Frank is a secondary charecter and usually has the comic B plot's. The show could continue without him,in fact I would say Lip and Ian are even more important to the show then him at this point. It made sense though he was paid the most when it started because he was probably the bigger name in the cast to draw people in,similiar to how Johnny Galecki made more when BBT started but Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parson are the bigger stars now.

I think Frank's the buttcrack of the show honestly. I agree with Radradsley, that you could write Frank out and it wouldn't affect the show because they wrote the character into a corner. He's so unpleasant and every other main character hates him, never wants to be around him and vice versa, all his storylines are on an island and never intertwine with the other Gallaghers. Not to completely go off-topic in an off-topic.

Rewriting and all that shit was one of the major reasons they brought him and replaced Eric Bana. I remember when they had problems with Norton in regards to Avengers and people thought Hulk would be written out at the height of the crisis.

Josh Trank.
Yeah, Fan4stic was shit, but just shut your mouth about it. Even Spielberg has made stinkers. Shot his career right in the face.

Chevy Chase leaving SNL after the first few episodes of the second season because he was going to be the "next Cary Grant." Of course Chevy has always been a pain in the ass to work with "going Hollywood" or not.

Yeah, and I guess every time he would come back to host, he'd be a massive douche to the later casts, to the point where he wasn't allowed to host after his early/mid 90's stints. He has made appearances on the show, but hasn't hosted since 1997.

Apparently Mike Myers went total diva after his initial success, which explains the lack of work following a bomb or two.
