I think a big part of the appeal of this show for me, is that Tony seems a lot more personable than Bruce, who can come off(at least at the point of the podcast I'm on) as a little defensive and condescending. Agreed, and for the love of the Taskmaster, we need to hear Tony's story about the YEHTAY!

Getting alittle bored with Conrad just reading the observer and getting Tony or Bruce's thoughts.Seems kinda lazy to me.

Agreed, and for the love of the Taskmaster, we need to hear Tony's story about the YEHTAY! He talked a little bit about the angle in this week's episode. He mentioned that he got yelled at by Bischoff at a meeting for not selling King Curtis and the dungeon of doom like a major threat.

How dare he not treat Hogan's personal jobbers as a threat!

How dare he not treat Hogan's personal jobbers as a threat! Haha the reasoning for the dungeon of doom was so Hulk could control the company and combat Ric Flair's camp. Problem is that all of his buddies sucked and pretty much got fired a short time later.

Tony told a story on JR's podcast that I thought was great.
Bischoff had decided to do the old "somebody's going to win $1 million! Tune in next week to find out how to enter!" bit.
In a meeting, he lays this out to Tony, Bobby, and Tenay. Tony replied with an unenthusiastic, "Okay," which angered Bischoff.
Eric yelled, "Damn it, I shouldn't have bothered to tell you, you'll never get it over because you don't give a shit!"
This kind of rubbed Tony the wrong way because he felt he had been trying to get everything over.
So he talked about nothing else. A great match in the ring? "Guys, this is exciting! But you know what's more exciting? Somebody's gonna have a chance to win $1 million!"
Bobby and Tenay can't wait for the main event? "Guys, I can't wait either. But I really can't wait for next week, because somebody's gonna have a chance to win $1 million!"
The show ended and Tony thought, "Well, that's the worst TV I've ever done." A few minutes later, Eric saw him and said, "Hey, Tony... great work out there tonight. That's what we need!"

So this morning there was a, "If you were blocked, respond and Tony might unblock you!" type tweet. What an arrogant piece of shit Tony Schiavone is. Having people beg for you to unblock them (When you blocked them because ??) is beyond gross. Bitter, like the coffee he makes. The Bitter Barista.

Yeah, he's having fun with the Twitter stuff now.
I'm 30 minutes into the nWo Souled Out and that shirt ad with his wife coming in was awesome.

These two shows with Tony are all I've heard of him and I think the bits where tries to have some sort of conversion or discussion are great but he relies too much on what Meltzer said back when to keep the show moving.

Did not know that he try to get on with WWE after WCW closed It makes sense, but I can also see why WWE kiboshed it. Tony was SO synonymous with WCW's identity, it would have been impossible to do anything with him. Scott Hudson was a way better neutral option for a "WCW" voice that you could transition to the WWE when the angle was over. Shame that didn't work out. Hudson was good.

Did not know that he try to get on with WWE after WCW closed Yeah sad thing was that Vince hated his southern accent. Vince is just bias against the south.

Just finished episode 2 and while I'm not a fan of the constant observer stuff this show does have some promise and the 2 hours flew by.

Yeah but from the outside looking in, these twitter shenanigans are hilarious. In episode two he explains he blocked people who would make "greatest x in the history of our y" and "that'll put butts in seats" references so maybe ya tweeted something once and someone @ him with it and he was like "ok f*** both these guys" and maybe that's how ya got blocked.

I will forever be confused as to why the dude blocked me. It's truly the greatest mystery in the history of my social media.
