I love this limbo period we're in, where most of the world is waiting for the next-next gen consoles and prices on PS2 and other such things games dramatically drop. It's still hard for me to believe the PS2 is about to be old hat.
Anyway, yesterday, after finally getting well enough at Soul Calibur III to quit playing it a while, I decided...I want some racing game, but not a real one like I usually play, and I want destruction. Blowing crap up. LIGHTBULB! Twisted Metal Black.
I got it and Robotech: Battlecry for 4.99 each.
They're both fairly old games, but I had wanted both for quite a while, so it was good to finally add them to my rather anemic PS2 collection (my original stash was swiped when we moved).
Anyone else gotten any sweet deals on stuff lately? I'll probably actually end up buying a lot more PS2 stuff while the next-genners are eating up their new consoles.

Twisted Metal: Black is awesome! Lots of fun and it's begging for a sequel.
Most of the stuff I've bought recently were SNES games. Stuff I didn't have when it was first released and that I've since come to enjoy playing on an emulator or over my friend's house. I've also bought some PS1 games that I was neglecting to get.
