Ani has his MLB thread, sheltonspapa has his NFL thread. Ive yet to see an NBA thread, and it is my favorite of the major pro American leagues, so whatever you've got, ask away...

Are Carmelo's rows real?
The Celtics.......ugliest team ever?
Is Larry Bird related to Big Bird?
Do the Raptors still exist?
Why did they move the New Orleans Jazz to Utah were there is no Jazz but still keep the name?

Why did they move the New Orleans Jazz to Utah were there is no Jazz but still keep the name? Yes they in fact are real. If you mean the uniforms, no, that would go to either the lime green Hawks uni's back in the day or the crappy Rockets jersey's from 96 or 97 up until a few years ago. A DNA test has shown no traces of shared blood between the two Birds. The Raptors, after much research, DO still exist. However it is unconfirmed as to weather they are relevent. Because people in Utah love their Jazz apparently. Can anyone confirm if New Orleans has any hornets around or should the incoming Charolette team have changed their name?

My cousin was mauled by a bobcat while strolling down a Charlotte street. Don't even get me started on that time I stepped off the subway in DC to find myself confronted with a true live wizard! All of that was true except for what I typed

My trail was NOT in fact blazing the last time I went to Portland.
Also, I saw no real "warriors" when I was in Oakland.

Explain why Reggie Miller is such an icon? If you impress me ill give you remaining "remains" of Paul Bearer... Reggie Miller is an icon because he is arguably the greatest clutch shooter in the history of the game. His heroics against the Knicks in the playoffs will live on forever and Pacer fans sure as hell will always be thankful for Reggie. Although he could never bring them a championship, he did bring them years of great memories. All hate for not winning a title should be directed at Rik Smits for looking overly moronic when the team would annually shave their heads for the playoffs.
