Let's just pretend the past decade+ hasn't happened, and it's 2005 again please... give Jarrett the title, bring back Monty Brown, put Jeff back on pills and revive Team Canada.

I have no problems with D"Amore back in charge in creative, he was one of the better ones TNA had. Mantel has had success as well, he was the escape goat by Dixie for Russo non Sense. Yeah, I actually think this could work well - having D'Amore and Dutch as your top creative minds sounds pretty good to me. At least as far as the product is concerned (managing to turn TNA around to where it's making money is another issue). If Jeff can contain his ego enough to stay off the show, hey, maybe he could pull off a turn similar to Triple H's shift from Reign of Terror HHH to NXT's Uncle Paul.

Many, if not the majority of issues plaguing TNA started under the Jarretts so I don't know why anyone would think things will improve. Pretty much. The problems might be DIFFERENT, but I highly doubt anything's gonna be SOLVED.

If anything this kind of sounds worse? At least TNA has largely been funny bad, this just sounds bad bad.

There are both good and bad. I am not as high on Dutch in creative as some are, but D'Amore is IMO a good get as he does have a good eye for talent. As for Jeff? I think towards the end of his run with pull he had some good ideas to try and help the company grow, but does that overlook the other things he's done? Eh...
But if you listen to most former TNA guys, having Gaburick lose power isn't bad

But if you listen to most former TNA guys, having Gaburick lose power isn't bad Well Dutch came up with good concepts the paparazzi gimmick which he created in Puerto Rico, he also created the Abyss character, this was when Abyss was awesome, not when he killed his own gimmick. Apparently, according to Cornette, Dutch was the main force behind Angle vs Joe when it was billed as a borderline MMA fight, Russo was the one who ruined it involving Karen. I don't remember Jarrett coming up with great ideas. To me he was the moron who killed the Nashville asylum by beating Raven clean and derailed Monty Brown.

Honestly, TNA needs a proper shake up and some new minds behind the protect. TNA is stale, stagnant. Give me Jarrett and his whacky ideas.

I'm all for Dutch and especially D'Amore on the booking team. Jarrett needs to stay away from all of the titles or any run as a heel authority figure though.
At least it's not Vince Russo.

If Jarrett can stay the heck offscreen, I'll have no problem with it.
D'Amore coming back on creative makes me very happy. I know I'm not the only one who views his past run on creative in a positive light. The 2005 and 2006 sections of LOLTNA, when D'Amore was booking, are relatively short compared to other years.
...now to wait for LOLTNA to come back up so I can complete the reference to The Who I made in the 2017 section...

I'm actually curious to see what happens now, especially with the new partnership with NOAH and Crash.
Considering where we are right now, it's not like things are gonna get worse.
The big question mark is the Hardys. Will Jarrett still grant them full creative freedom if he's going to be more hands on? If they don't like that arrangement, would that be enough for them to head back to WWE for one more big payday?

I get that they enjoyed having creative freedom, but nothing compares to the merch they would sell and their paychecks increase in the wwe. In my opinion, ego wise, i would return to the wwe. Let's face it, even the wm fan axxess out draws TNA.
