WORST "Russo Idea" Ever. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}"Sug, let's hire Vince Russo." Are you talking about TNA only or any wrestling company in general? I'm not convinced if you remove him entirely from ever working with the WWE, that the company does as well.

All of them. They're having a party. Tank Abbott's passed out on the couch.

WORST "Russo Idea" Ever. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}"Sug, let's hire Vince Russo." He's booking an Indy show in Denver called Rocky Mountain Pro. It's bad, it's what you expect about an Indy show booked by Vince Russo, the quality is worse than a public access show.

David Arquette WCW Champion That wasn't him. That came down from people above him, to help promote the movie. Now, how he went about doing it, on the other hand...

If it's true that Russo created the Blue Blazer entrance as a slight at Sting, then this is indeed his worst idea.
Everything else is just stupid TV and bad business decisions.

David Arquette WCW Champion That wasn't him. That came down from people above him, to help promote the movie. Now, how he went about doing it, on the other hand... His reasoning was that since wrestling is fake, a fake title isn't important and it doesn't matter who you give it to...

The original blowoff to David Flair-Stacy Keibler was David was supposed to get Stacy pregnant and then propose to her culminating with a big wedding on Nitro... ...only for Ric Flair to object and reveal himself as Stacy's biological father. Slightly off subject, but this picture will never fail to amuse me.

Wasn't that picture taken right around the time he said that while he was in charge, no mexican wrestler would be a main eventer in wcw?

The conclusion of a bonus episode of The Attitude Era Podcast in which they review WCW's Bash at The Beach 2000 as the quintessential show to sum up his career as a bookerman. It starts off with Kefin, Adam and Billy just given their own thoughts on him that are pretty even keeled until Kefin goes on a four minute long airing of grievances. My two favorite quotes: "Coming out in a Popemobile at the end of the day is not gonna do you any favors when people are trying to figure out whether you're a c*** or not." and "Everything you have ever put on a pole can go f*** itself!" I seem to remember a Sting v Abyss match from TNA that got a loud "RUSSO SUCKS!!!" chant. The match had a gimic that absolutely sucked but can't remember it for the life of me.

That was the Last Rights match at Destination X, essentially just a coffin match with more props. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TzsNxP5pgcWhat's weird is, this happened just about 2 months after there was a TNA chant during that godawful Donald Vs. Rosie segment on Raw. I remember thinking how TNA might have been gaining some traction against WWE when they were at their lowest, and then...boom. This happened.

I am not too sure if this is a bad idea as such as personally I would be interested in the visual of it alone, but Russo wanted to have Nicole Bass as The Undertaker's bride in The Ministry, which would later lead to Bass vs Chyna (who was aligned with HHH in the Corporate Ministry) while Bass was pretty awful, the freaky visual of this would have interested me so I think MOST would think thats a bad idea, I would have liked to see it.

Not all of Russo's ideas were bad, it's just that the execution was horrendous. Take the powers that be storyline, at it's heart it was a heel GM angle before it was played out, keeping him unseen aside from being a guy in a chair was good as he never overshadowed the wrestlers he worked with and it was a good way to explain repackagings and help guys in the undercard get over because they look like babyfaces with this unseen guy from management putting them through the wringer... Unfortunately, like most Russo ideas, it lead nowhere good.

Worst Russo idea ever: OKLAHOMA.
This angle pissed me off so much I quit watching WCW for good.
