I will always love the Dean podcast. I like Dean chill attitude in there. Plus Austin looking like he would jump on dean at any second was funny

I think shows like JBL's aren't getting picked up because the newer fans don't give a rats ass about wrestling history. Their ratings basically say that Holy Foley does better ratings than almost anything..that tells you who's watching the network.

I don't see any interest in these live podcasts if there aren't tough questions being asked. Sure, things like Talking Smack are great because they give chances for the talent to further their characters, but it doesn't have to be kayfabe all the time when none of the non-Network podcasts are like that.

The two realest shows on the Network that weren't full of fluff, and they get canned. I loved both shows.

Hires Steve Austin because of his in your face style. Doesn't want Steve Austin back because of his in your face style.

That's what I was thinking.

The only shows my wife will sit down and watch with me on the network are the stone cold podcasts and the old era documentaries so its a shame that they're pulling the plug.
Losing Legends with JBL is a big shame as its been real educational and gets that insight into the wrestlers lives that will most likely never get a full length documentary made.
With the stone cold podcast it was a bit hit or miss, I think the interviews with the seasoned veterans were much better than the current roster - stick them with Jericho and make two podcasts every 2 months or so.
I thought Austin was getting Taker, Hogan etc. lined up?

Gotta do more of that show where they bury IWC complaints.

Gotta do more of that show where they bury IWC complaints. They really do, that was funny as hell.

You can tell what a coward Vince is the way he behaved during the first podcast. Best WWE work Steve's done since WM19. Never forget the words of a liar caught red-handed. Nsfw:

It's a shame about Legends but the main thing I've learned since the launch of the network is today's fans for the most part don't care about wrestling history so a show devoted to that most likely isn't getting watched. Which sucks, because this is the main reason I love the network.

Such a shame. Kevin Owens was recently on the SCSA podcast and it was really great. Would have made a good network special.
Owens got it, he knew the fine balance of keeping kayfabe and talking about his history and life.

Legends with JBL is the one exclusive show I've made time to watch and keep up with. Regardless of his other faults he really knew how to ask good questions and present someone's story in their relevant context. The Booker T and Alundra Blaze editions in particular are some of the most interesting documentary work I've seen anywhere. The low cost to produce and edit them means they must not like how in-depth they got, which is the true disappointment

You can tell what a coward Vince is the way he behaved during the first podcast. Best WWE work Steve's done since WM19. Never forget the words of a liar caught red-handed. Yep. That podcast definitely justified my hatred for Vince McMahon. Dude's a snake in the grass/coward/liar/piece of shit/etc. Austin's podcast seemed to be the best when it was actually a guest he was interested in/a guest that wasn't afraid to answer questions. Paige and Dean were both really, really terrible guests. As bad as they were, I still enjoyed it and respected Austin because he wasn't afraid to go after them. I've only watched a couple of episodes of JBL's show, but I enjoyed it. The Network needs original programming like these two shows and less Holy Foley and Camp WWE. Hell, I'd even take another season of Legend's House at this point. Yup. I've gotten some shit for my hatred of Vince, but until he stops proving me right, I'll stop blaming him and calling him out for stuff that's entirely his fault. He's a good promoter, I'll never deny that. But he's a horrible creative entity. And nowhere near a genius. And sadly in his little bubble he believes his own hype. That still shot alone just reads "I'm lying, I know I'm lying, look how exaggerated I'm trying to make my face" We need Bray Wyatt to pop in from the side of the screen after he says that line and scream "LIAR!" Vince is a horrible interview where the questions aren't staged (Costas, Austin) which just gives us a glimpse into the giant clueless idiot he really is. The only thing I won't miss from JBL's interviews are the scary close ups of him half smiling with WAYYYYYYYY too much make up on. Those always scared me.
