I doubt they're going to 16 or 17 but even if they cut the tag two tag title matches and throw all those guys in the battle royal to condense things, that still leaves 13 or 14 which seems like way too much for what they usually do. It will be interesting to see what they do because right now it's looking like this and I have a tough time seeing any of these matches not happening or any of the people involved getting left off.
Main Show Golberg vs. Lesnar Undertaker vs. Reigns Orton vs. Wyatt Big Show vs. Shaq Cena/Bella vs. Miz/Maryse Jericho vs. Owens Shane vs. Styles Ambrose vs. Corbin Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Nia Andre Battle Royal (Strowman going over for sure as the match will be basically all other lower carders other then him especially if Harper, Sheamus, Cesaro, and Zayn are all in other matches) Whatver Rollins/Triple H/Joe are doing
Pre Show Smackdown Womens match (triple threat with Becky/Alexa/Mickie or a tag match with Mickie/Alexa vs. Becky and a partner maybe Asuka or a returning legend like Trish or Lita) Alpha vs. Usos (could see them getting thrown in the battle royal to condense things but this feud has been dragging on for so long without a proper blow off I think they have to do it here. Raw on the other hand I can see not getting a tag match so they can shorten the card while also adding more star power to the battle royal with Sheamus and Cesaro) Cruiserweight Multi Man Match

Going to my first WrestleMania - I'll be in the 100s about halfway between the ramp and the ring.

Problem is that they have so many storylines this year and most of them deserve to be on the card. I can't imagine how difficult it will be to have to trim the potential card down. I agree to a sense that they've kind of booked themselves into a corner where they have too many wrestlers and too many angles for WrestleMania. That's also a good problem to have, as it's a better option than having too few wrestlers and too little angles for WrestleMania, which is what happened last year. I think we're looking at a 12-match card, 13 matches tops. I think we'll get nine or 10 on the four-hour main show and three or four on the pre-show. We're already locked into three matches with Lesnar/Goldberg, Shaq/Big Show, and the WWE World Championship match. I think they'll round out the card with Owens/Jericho, Reigns/Undertaker, whatever Rollins/Triple H/Samoa Joe are up to, Raw Women's Championship, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, an Intercontinental Championship ladder match, Cruiserweight Championship match, something involving John Cena, something involving AJ Styles, and a multi-woman SmackDown women's match (possibly for the championship). That's 13. If I can make a blind WrestleMania prediction over a month out, I'd be willing to roll the dice on the card looking a bit like this: KICKOFF SHOW- Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal (Big Cass, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Enzo Amore, Jinder Mahal, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Mark Henry, Rusev, Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Titus O’Neil, Chad Gable, Curt Hawkins, Heath Slater, Jason Jordan, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Konnor, Rhyno, Viktor) - Six-pack challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship (Carmella, Mickie James, Natalya, Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, Alexa Bliss) - Fatal four-way for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship match (The Brian Kendrick, Jack Gallagher, Tajiri, Neville) MAIN SHOW- Raw Women's Championship (Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte Flair) - WWE Intercontinental Championship ladder match (Baron Corbin, Dolph Zigger, James Ellsworth, Apollo Crews, Kalisto, Mojo Rawley, Dean Ambrose) - AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe - The Miz vs. John Cena - Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal - Seth Rollins vs. Triple H - Roman Reigns vs. Undertaker - Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho - Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg - WWE World Championship (Luke Harper, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt)

So there's some more altering to the card.

I don't know, at this point last year we were all pretty confident that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were going to have a one-on-one match for Owens' Intercontinental Championship. And the possiblity of them shuttering the Big Show vs. Shaq match would be great. If that's the case, I'd love to see a rematch of last Monday's surprisingly great Big Show-Braun Stroman match. Give them 10 minutes and let them just wallop each other.

In the future I wonder with the big roster and WWE wanting to get as much people on the card as they possibly can.. will they have Wrestlemania over two nights?
Instead one nearly 6 hour PPV, have two three and half to four hour shows with a days break in between

I skipped raw tonight and heard about Seth and Triple H still likely being on for Mania. My first thought was, I bet almost all of FAN let out a collective shrug and said, Nah man, I'm good.

Their segment was actually the best on the show and I'm sure their match at Mania would be very good as well.

Here's my Mania Card. I wanted to get everyone on the card, so everyone is used that is currently available. It's kind of long, but would fit in 6 hours. At Fastlane, Charlotte will regain the Women's Title and Jack Gallagher will win the Cruiserweight Title. Also, Chris Jericho vacates the United States Title to go after Owens' Universal Title.
WRESTLEMANIA KICKOFF SHOW (2 HRS)
1) CW Championship #1 Contender's Ladder Match: Akira Tozawa VS Brian Kendrick VS Cedric Alexander VS Mustafa Ali VS Neville VS Noam Dar VS Rich Swann VS TJ Perkins 2) Women's Battle Royal (Feat: Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke, Emma, Becky Lynch, Carmella, Mickie James, Natalya, & any former Diva they want to bring back) 3) WWE UK Championship Match: WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate VS Winner of Battle Royal that would be held on NXT Takeover: Orlando 4) NXT Championship Match: Winner of Shinsuke Nakamura/Kassius Ohno (They would wrestle at TO: Orlando) VS NXT Champion Bobby Roode 5) 33-Man Andre The Giant Battle Royal For the Vacant US Title: (Featuring: Ariya Daivari, Bo Dallas, Braun Strowman, Curtis Axel, Drew Gulak, Epico, Goldust, Gran Metalik, Jinder Mahal, Lince Dorado, Mark Henry, Primo, Rusev, R-Truth, Sin Cara, Tajiri, Titus O'Neil, Tony Nese, Aiden English, Apollo Crews, Curt Hawkins, Dolph Ziggler, Fandango, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, James Ellsworth, Kalisto, Konnor, Mojo Rawley, Rhyno, Simon Gotch, Tyler Breeze, Viktor)
MAIN CARD (4 HRS) 1) WWE Cruiserweight Championship: WWE CW Champion Jack Gallagher VS Austin Aries 2) WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose VS Baron Corbin 3) Triple Threat Match for Raw Tag Team Championship: Enzo & Cass VS WWE Raw Tag Champions Gallows & Anderson VS Cesaro & Sheamus 4) AJ Styles VS Shane McMahon 5) Fatal 4-Way for Raw Women's Championship: Sasha Banks VS Bayley VS Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair VS Nia Jax 6) WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match: WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions American Alpha VS The Usos 7) The Big Show VS Shaquille O'Neil 8) WWE Smackdown Women's Championship Match: Alexa Bliss VS Naomi 9) Seth Rollins & Sami Zayn VS Finn Balor & Samoa Joe (w/Triple H) (If they don't want to turn Balor heel or want to save his return, then Triple H can replace him. This way Rollins doesn't have to do a full match if he's not 100%), 10) Mixed Tag Team Match: John Cena & Nikki Bella VS The Miz & Maryse 11) Inter-Brand Match: Roman Reigns VS The Undertaker 12) Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship: Luke Harper VS Randy Orton VS WWE Champion Bray Wyatt 13) Goldberg VS Brock Lesnar 14) WWE Universal Championship Match: Chris Jericho VS Universal Champion Kevin Owens

Maybe it's just the optimist in me, but I don't think a crowd would be so cold as to boo a marriage proposal at WrestleMania just because it's John Cena. I mean, booing him in a match is one thing, but booing love? (Besides, who are we to judge how they show their love? You can show love without constantly mounting each other like wild animals) "NIKKI SWALLOWS" "CENA SUCKS"

So AS IT CURRENTLY STANDS, it's Bray Wyatt vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Title at Mania. Though I sense the odd bit of harmless arson could change that...

If Kurt Angle came out and delivered an Angle Slam to Rusev, that would be perfect.

What I'm thinking is that maybe they could do Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs. Triple H and Samoa Joe. The Shield vs. The Authority. That way, Reigns can compensate for Rollins' injury and Rollins can compensate for Reigns' popularity problem.
Undertaker can fight Braun Strowman, with Strowman's streak coming to an end in grand fashion.
And this is really unlikely, but in the interest of an AJ/Shane feud, a match is made for Mania where AJ goes against Shane's handpicked opponent. It's heavily implied to be Shane himself, but Shane reveals at the last minute that he's actually chosen Nakamura.

I love my wrestling but seeing all these predictions of 14,15 or 16 matches on the card, I hope in reality its not that many.

Yes, he has not been pinned or submitted, but he has lost many tag team matches or by Disqualification, or by Time Limit, if you count Sami Zayn beating him at Roadblock. But he has still lost. A loss is a loss no matter what.

There's really no way around it this year unless a bunch of titles will not be defended (both Tag belts, crusierweight). I'd imagine there'll be at least 4 matches on the pre-show.

The Andre thing is gonna be inter-brand, right? I got a funny hunch it's gonna be expanded and play host to a lot of people.
