I looked over the previous MVP thread, and while the majority of votes went to Other, there was JUST enough division judging by the posts that Austin Aries BARELY missed out on being MVP over Samoa Joe. Ouch.
SAMOA JOE: Respect is to be put on his name. After a loaded interview with Michael Cole, during which he called out Sami Zayn as one of those "just happy to be here," he decided to target Zayn physically after Zayn took offense. Joe would leave Zayn lying on the stage, an ominous sign of what is to come.
BRAUN STROWMAN: Despite the best efforts from Mark Henry, the Monster Among Men would level the World's Strongest Man. He didn't stop there, though, as an attempt by his Fastlane opponent, Roman Reigns, to get the upper hand leading to their match was thwarted emphatically. With a matchup against Big Show looming next week, the question remains: Can anyone, even the usually dominant Roman Reigns, stop Braun Strowman?
AKIRA TOZAWA: All that needs to be said is that in just two weeks on the RAW roster, he has become one of the most over people in the Cruiserweight division, and his win against Ariya Daivari showed why. Also, "AH!"
KEVIN OWENS: The friendship is over. After receiving numerous gifts to show how much Chris Jericho valued his friendship, the Universal Champion gave him a gift as well: a brutal beatdown and a trip to the hospital. Suffice to say that the dreaded version of Owens is finally back, and a clear message to Goldberg has been sent.
GILLBERG: Nominated solely because his brief return was awesome.
BAYLEY: How long it lasts will remain to be seen, but the Era of #HugLife is upon RAW's Women's division. A grueling match with Charlotte Flair saw both women pull out almost all the stops, and Dana Brooke's interference fell short thanks to Sasha Banks. Bayley's dream came true in a huge way in RAW's main event.
PREVIOUS WINNERS:
1/2: Braun Strowman
1/9: Chris Jericho
1/16: Kevin Owens
1/23: Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins
1/30: Samoa Joe
2/6: Samoa Joe (HONORABLE MENTION: Austin Aries)
