I know it's only a few weeks before Ring Management comes out, but it feels like it's months. I can't wait.

There will be a stream tonight talking about the Fire Pro New Japan collaboration at www.twitch.tv/spike_chunsoft at 7PM PST. Hopefully, there will be an announcement of the date of Ring Management and possibly more info on the PS4 release along with the NJPW talk.

-New update released tomorrow with some new moves -Promoter Mode will be released late January or early February. -You'll need a minimum of 4 promotions with 6 wrestlers to start Promoter mode. 24 total wrestlers. -NJPW DLC is coming around G1 Climax - mid-July. -Story mode will entail with you starting as a Young Lion, fighting your way to the top of championship. It will have branching paths, similar to Story Mode in Fire Pro G. -PS4 version of Fire Pro World's gonna have all the DLC included Apparently prior to the NJPW story mode collab, the devs were tossing up between management mode and a story mode written specifically by Suda51. Hopefully that can still be a thing because I kinda want it to happen.

Interesting list there. Does that essentially mean we probably won’t get the PS4 version until July, I wonder?
Also that story mode by Suda51 needs to happen somehow. I’ll take the wait because of Promoter Mode but it just does.
I wonder what they’ll do about all the modding, though. If they can figure out how to transfer Steam Workshop purchases and such to the PS4 version, that could genuinely be a big thing.

I might have missed it as I skim read but have they mentioned cost on the management DLC?

I might have missed it as I skim read but have they mentioned cost on the management DLC? I believe I read it was free but could be wrong about that since I haven’t heard about them charging for anything except the Takayama DLC (which was for a great cause so I had zero problem paying for it).

I'm pretty dang sure that it'll be paid DLC. Management & New Japan story mode will both be paid but Spike doesn't seem like they're in the business of locking moves behind a paywall.

I bought this at Christmas and I'm looking forward to getting into it, but after adding a few things on the Steam Workshop I can tell that even the menus of this thing are a Time Vampire.

Yeah, that makes more sense because they’re optional. Has Spike ever done costumed DLC for their games like Atlus’ done with Persona 5?

I know there a couple games out there with Monokuma as a DLC costume. And I'm kind of hoping this game ends up being one of them honestly. Also on that Suda 51 thing, will this story also involve reaching the top of the mountain only to realize how hollow being champion is and kill yourself?

I assume that Spike would just let Suda51 do whatever the hell he wanted to do. Maybe he'd have your character explicitly killing those you defeat until you reach the top of the mountain and realise that there's nobody worth killing.

Only if it completely deletes your save and all your CAWs. Otherwise it's not SUDA enough to just recycle a previous ending.

Yeah, that makes more sense because they’re optional. Has Spike ever done costumed DLC for their games like Atlus’ done with Persona 5? Well, DLC is a relatively new thing for videogames, so not really. FPWR has a system worked out where you could add saves to the game, but that was all outside of Spike, it was a fan thing that they figured out, and it was a complicated system that needed Swap Discs systems and flash drives to pull it off. To the best of my knowledge, FPW games came out and didn't have extra support after the fact. This is uncharted territory for the series, and so far, they've handled it spectacularly. My biggest question still is how the marketplace for CAWs and rings is going to work on PS4. Is it going to work like Community Creations, is it going to be based off of Steam Workshop, is there going to be cross downloading, or will you have to DL all your wrestlers and set things up again if you have both? I'm patient to have the questions answered, but it'd be nice to know the direction soon.
