Carlzilla's Mod. Play-By-Play. Thank you. And ring announcing, too. Carl's an absolute madman right now. I really got to get around to adding that mod.

Spike is having their livestream on Twitch right now ( www.twitch.tv/spike_chunsoft ), per Fire Pro Arena, Matsumoto has 3 big announcements: -They're releasing a special DLC to raise money for Yoshihiro Takayama. This includes a new move, the Spirit Punch Rush, and will include Takayama as a character. On sale Dec. 18/19 for $2.99 USD. Takayama marks the first ever official male pro wrestler in the series. -The game is leaving Early Access on Dec. 19th as well, says that it's time for the game to move up and the team starts focusing on the PS4 port. Announcement on the PS4 release in January. Says updates and new moves will still be coming though. FPWW will be 33% off the current $19.99 price once it leaves EA, from Dec 18/19 to Jan 4/5. On Jan 5th, the price goes up to $29.99 USD. So, if you don't have it, get it then. -Fire Promoter Management Mode DLC will be coming in January. 14 different promotions with at least 6 wrestlers each. Says this will be the first of the paid DLCs, with one more major piece planned. Season Pass will be available, apparently. Seriously can't wait for FPMM. We're turning the corner here, people.

It's so weird to see a game developer do things to make their game better for players.

It's so weird to see a game developer do things to make their game better for players. That's why I hate that FPWW doesn't get the press it does. We're in a time where every gaming company is completely tone deaf to what the fans want, but S-C is actually doing a lot to prop up this game and letting fans help sharpen it. And I don't care if you have a junky computer, or if you're waiting for the PS4 version, if you're a wrestling fan, you should own a copy of this game, especially when the sale starts. There's no excuse why this shouldn't be a top 10 seller on Steam.

If it DID get a lot of press, Spike Chunsoft wouldn't be able to do what they need/want to do on their own time, slow-rollout style the way they have been.

Version 1.000 was published today. We have officially left Early Access!
Please refer to this announcement for our post-Early Access plans. We will continue to update with free content and bug fixes in the future.
Today's patch notes are as follows: OFFLINE Fixed bug in Leagues/Tournaments where victory/loss would sometimes not register properly. Fixed bug in Leagues where result screen would show the winning wrestler with the name “No Entry” and fail to display their graphic. Fixed bug in League Mode where the correct wrestlers would sometimes not proceed to the finals. Fixed bug in League Mode where, in a title match, the challenger would sometimes not receive the belt if they won. Fixed bug in League Mode where sometimes the winner of a finals match would not be recorded, forcing you to replay the match. Fixed bug in League Mode where sometimes a finals block would repeat until a wrestler beat everyone else consecutively. League matches now proceed in a more even distribution between wrestlers. (Previously, there was a tendency for a single wrestler to perform all their matches before other wrestlers.) EDIT MODE Added “Overwrite” option to Edit Wrestler load menu. Face part scale arrows now scale at 1% per click. (Previously 2%.) Added 2 more Priority Attack slots to CPU logic. (12 total) Fixed bug preventing certain renamed moves from displaying properly. ONLINE Added support for four player matches. MATCHES Match-specific Match Evaluation criteria implemented for Deathmatches, SWA Rules Match and S-1 Rules Match. Ive been on hiatus with this game since the end of September and am really looking forward to getting back into it. Ive kept tabs on everything thats been officially implemented and also what Carl has been doing. Its almost intimidating.
But can't wait for MotR and seeing what the community does for it. I can already see savefiles being shared that have different scenarios set up, ready to rebook history, and it's exciting.

Best moment I've had so far was my very first simmed tournament. Gruesome Fighting. Hunter vs Marty Scurll.
Marty scrapes through to Round 2. Goes for a test of strength. Hunter punches him flat. I cried laughing.

That'll be when the game really comes together. Fire Pro has always been amazing in terms of making ultra realistic edits, but beyond booking the shit out of your imagination there hasnt been much in terms of things to do with all your edits. This mode should change that.

Does anyone else like the SWA Rules match? I decided to create one of my championships for SWA rules, and it's an interesting change from a standard match. In a simmed match, it's interesting to see who ends up losing due to the 3 knockdown rule.
