In case anyone missed it, it's confirmed that Management Mode is being pushed back in order to focus on getting the PS4 release in order. Also, the UI is getting an overhaul. twitter.com/sc_prowrestling/status/978587181458472960My biggest concern about this is what this means to what will be included on the disc of the PS4 version. Is Management Mode getting pushed back until after August when the game is released on PS4, or just getting pushed back until the PS4 version is tight enough to move on to that mode? Is it going to be on the disc with the game? Because if it's going to be DLC, paying more to have that in the game may cause people to balk at the high price of the release, which could hurt the series. I'm hoping we get some answers soon. I'm also still concerned how wrestlers and items that were created in workshop are going to translate to the PS4? Has there been any solid answers to how that will work on PS4? Is there any other games that are on both Steam and PS4 that are able to share workshop items between the two platforms?

The Vader I downloaded apparently can't be beat. Was topped ranked version of him at the time. Ran through a tournament for the gold and has won most his defenses by critical.
He's ran through Punk, Flair, Okada, Tanahashi, Omega, Cody, and Hogan.
It is an interesting run but I'm unsure he'll ever drop it at this point.

If all else fails, find a high ranking Paul Orndorff and put him against Vader. If that doesn't work, nothing will.

Like a quality edit of Vader in his prime should run roughshod through your roster. Not sure if it was Senator’s or another’s 1984ish Hogan edit I grabbed a while back. Not only did he capture my KWA Heavyweight Championship, he held it for in game ages. It got to a point where whenever I felt an original edit was “finished” for my homebrew fed I would use the sim against Hogan as a litmus. I watched them all go up against him. Some good matches, some squashes, didn’t matter. In the end, Hogan must pose right? Until one time my homemade heavyweight luchador beat him. An in game 46 minute markfest. Only this game makes shit like that possible. Cheers to when your Vader eventually falls.

Vader has always been a monster in Fire Pro no matter what version.

I had a CAW (though I suppose the Fire Pro term is "edit") I'd made in my PS2 Fire Pro fed like that named "Big Brother Brutus". It was frustrating that nobody else I'd make could really touch him.

I jinxed Vader. Last night he lost the title to The Ultimate Warrior. I can only imagine how long of a run Warrior will have now.
Vader was champion from October of the previous year until May of the current.

Decided to try Vader out to see if he could stop the issue that presently in my game Zangief is completely unstoppable. Vader basically got squashed.

So the modding for this game has gotten pretty insane the last month, from new moves to random wrestler generators to Ironman and Royal Rumble matches. I really, really wish I knew how they made the new moves as there is so much stuff I'd love to mod in.

I haven't seen any of the new modded moves, I have to suspect they stitched them together from the animations of other moves. I am glad that SC has been very hands off with modding, and even openly relying on them to fill in some of the holes that they have in their programming. I still hate that I have a laptop that just can't handle the game, and that I can't get the hang of the mods, no matter how easy they seem to be to install. It drives me nuts I'll probably be relying on the PS4 version that will have no mods for my simming. :/

Is there a simple enough guide to installing mods for this game?? Somebody made youtube video awhile back taking you through it. CarlZilla’s mods are a breeze to install. All you have to do is unzip the files to your directory. And every time SC updates the game you have to wait for Carl to update the mod suite, but he generally has that ready mere hours later. The moves added in are great, there is a 173 of them. What really is tittie sprinkles is his bigger movesets mod. A wrestler can have over a 1,000 moves with that thing. It makes the matches way better.

I need to revisit it, but what stalled me on it was that there was another basic mod suite that I think you needed to download first, according to the post on FPW Arena, and that's what hung me up. I'm really bad with these things, and even if I had my hand held through it, I end up getting lost on basic stuff. It really sucks being this computer illiterate, even though I work in TV. :/

I downloaded versions of Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson that have been nearly unstoppable. Whoever put those CAWs together made them super strong. I have a few different versions of Vader. The first one I downloaded kept losing.

I actually decided to give it a go last night, and I think I got the PWGR patcher and Carlzilla's Mod suite installed. The only recognizable thing I noticed was that the Rumble mod looks like it's installed. I didn't play the game for long, as it was lagging as always and it was getting late, but I think it worked. It took me an hour and download WinRar again to really get it to take, but I think it was a success. Now I have to go looking for the move packs, as I don't think they were a part of the mod suite.

I just watched a couple of videos of the modded moves finally, and holy shit, a lot of them are really good. And whoever came up with the RainmaKO, give yourself a bonus, because that move is wild, and I wanna see someone actually use it as a finisher.
