Just wanted to hear how everyone is getting on with TEW '16. I know we have a fair few EWR/TEW players on here and I was just interested on who everyone is booking at the minute, how their saves are going etc. I've been playing pretty consistently over the past month or so booking ROH from Feb on over - this was part borne of my slight frustration with Delirious' booking, the over-reliance on New Japan guys and my (thankfully unfounded) fear that they weren't gonna put the belt on Daniels. This is my latest card from Glory By Honor: Daniels has been Champ since the Anniversary Show (Mar). The Bucks were Tag Champs until Global Wars (May) when the Hardy's unseated them, they were in turn beaten by the Leaders of the New School at All Star Extravaganza in September but regained them a month later at the aforementioned Glory By Honor show. Scurll was a dominant TV Champ until Best in the World (June) when Ospreay took him to the 20 minute TV Title time limit, Ospreay defeated him 1-0 in a 30 minute Ironman match a month later and has succesfully defended the title since. I've got my plans for Final Battle finalised and I'm really looking forward to booking it. Anyone else got any good games going at the minute?

My GPW save killed itself so while I rebuild I'm booking WCW starting in Week 1 of December '97. It's going swell.

Bit of an update, plus a more longwinded version of how I've got to where I am: I'm about to run my first Final Battle with ROH. Save was based on the most up to date data I could find in a Feb 2017 mod (which was pretty up to date since it was Feb 2017 when I started the game). I wasn't expecting the game to run for very long as I only really started it (as I mentioned earlier) in order to put the World Title on Christopher Daniels since I feared (unfounded thankfully) ROH wouldn't do so in real life. So quick recap of the past 10 months. Christopher Daniels defeated Adam Cole for the World Title at the Anniversary Show and has gone on to defend against everyone from friend to foe proving to be the ultimate fighting champion and defending his Championship successfully an impressive 14 times. Marty Scurll also started very strongly defeating some stiff competition to retain his World Television Championship until Best in the World when he and Will Ospreay went to a 20 minute time limit draw. This led to a match the next month at Death Before Dishonor when Ospreay defeated Scurll 1-0 in a 30 minute Ironman match. He had a pretty brutal feud with Cabana for the belt after but successfully retained and is Champ heading into Final Battle. The Young Bucks started off the save as Tag Champs and had a run of good matches before dropping the belts to the Hardy's at Global Wars. The Hardy's had an even stronger run before they lost the belts to the Leaders of the New School at All Star Extravaganza in September but won them back a month later at Glory By Honor. Fabian Aichner (who I loved in his one match in the Cruiserweight Classic) won the Top Prospect Tournament and although he has not tasted gold yet he has had a successful debut year (although he is currently out injured). Marty Scurll won Survival of the Fittest to earn a shot at Christopher Daniels' World Championship at Final Battle. Other notes include Jay Lethal turning heel and reforming the House of Truth, a planned semi-main of Cole vs. Cody (as Bullet Club turn on Cole) at Final Battle that was scuppered on TV two days before Survival of the Fittest - Night One (the plan was for Cole to lose his World Title match that night due to Bullet Club turning on him after roughly two months of dissension seeds being sown) when Cole was injured in a match against Matt Sydal. The likes of Zack Sabre, Jr., Drew Galloway joining as well as the upcoming return of two familiar faces at Final Battle. My highest rated show so far was the latest episode of ROH TV (surpassing All Star Extravaganza) and the best rated match so far (by a country mile) was an 89 for the Leaders of the New School's only successful Tag Title defence against the Young Bucks on ROH TV. Anyway heading into Final Battle this is the current card: Bobby Fish vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. Dalton Castle vs. Silas Young (the only match on the card I'm not fond of, since this has been done to death in ROH) Colt Cabana vs. Drew Galloway The Young Bucks vs. Lio Rush & Matt Sydal Motor City Machine Guns vs. RPG Vice Cody's Open Challenge: Cody vs. ROH World Television Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Jay Lethal ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Hardy's (c) vs. The Briscoes ROH World Championship: Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Marty Scurll

My Starrcade Card as it stands is as such. WCW World Title Sting vs "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan(C) WCW US Title Diamond Dallas Page vs Curt Hennig(C) WCW World Tag Team Titles Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell vs The Steiner Brothers(C) WCW Cruiserweight Title Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs Kidman vs Dean Malenko vs Eddie Guerrero(C) Grudge Match Raven's Rules Chris Benoit vs Raven For Control of Monday Nitro Eric Bischoff vs Larry Zbyszko Grudge Match Goldberg vs Steve "Mongo" McMichael Grudge Match The Giant vs Kevin Nash In true WCW fashion, there's gonna be a bit of bait and switch on the show. Nash is gonna fake an injury the week before the show leading to JoJo Dillon putting Hall in Nash's place. Also, Raven is going to sub in Saturn against Benoit, making it a TV title match.

The original card wasn't bad on paper but, as you said, the execution was trash bags. I've got some ideas of how to what they did to craft my own direction going into 1998.

Not TEW 16 but in EWR, I'm running a TNA 2005 game that's the most fun I've had booking in a while.
I started in January so the champions I started out with were Jeff Jarrett (NWA World), Team Canada (Bobby Roode & Eric Young) (NWA TNA), & Petey Williams (NWA X). I wasn't f***ing with any of those guys, tbh so I knew I had to switch the game up. So far, I'm in June and the company is on the cusp of going global with two TV shows (Impact on Fridays & Xplosion on Saturdays). The last PPV I ran was Sacrifice. On paper, it was probably the weakest PPV I've run so far and was kinda filler more than anything but it turned out pretty decent, IMO. Here's the card:
Pre-Show The Amazing Red & The Naturals (w/Johnny B. Good) b. EVOLVE (Alex Shelly, Mike Quackenbush & Frankie Kazarian) - EVOLVE is the typical heel stable full of cocky young punks trying to cheat their way to the top. They've been beefing with TAFKA Johnny B. Badd/Marc Mero (with a name change fitting his babyface manager status) and his clients. There's an underlying story here where Red, in consecutive weeks, pinned both Shelly & Quack but wasn't able to pin Kazarian due to a hoe ass DQ. He made up for that by pinning Kaz here
Scott Hall b. Sonjay Dutt - Scott Hall was feuding with Raven when Sonjay Dutt revealed himself to be Raven's new follower. Dutt quickly showed his worth as he cost Hall his match against Raven at Lockdown. Da Bad Guy got his revenge by taking Sonjay out after a good showing.
Christopher Daniels b. Chris Sabin - No real story, just a way to get both men on the card. Daniels gets the clean win with a BME.
NWA Tag Team Championship 3-Way Tag Match 3LK (Ron Killings & BG James) (c) b. Team Canada (Young & Roode) & The Naturals - 3LK defeated the Canadians for the titles on the Impact following Lockdown. Originally, America's Most Wanted was supposed to be the third team but Harris was in love with that Co Co and went into rehab. As a result, The Naturals (who I personally hate but whatever) pulled double duty on this show.
NWA World Championship Jeff Hardy (c) b. Abyss (w/ James Mitchell) - Abyss is coming off a win against DDP at Lockdown and won a battle royal on Impact to get this shot. Sadly, he didn't get anywhere near as over as I hoped he would so I made the call to shuffle the title match to the middle of the card. Kayfabe, the explanation was that Abyss stomped out after the tag title match and James Mitchell demanded the world title match started now since Abyss didn't want to wait any longer.
Triangle Match Kevin Nash b. DDP & Andrew Martin - This match was created by Dusty Rhodes (TNA's Authority Figure) with the winner promised "a future world title opportunity." As it turned out, that opportunity was a spot in the 2nd ever King of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary. Nash picked up the rather dubious win after a low blow and a Jacknife to DDP.
Raven b. CM Punk - On Impact, Raven & Dutt tried to murk Scott Hall but the old drunk was saved by Mr. Straight Edge, CM Punk. This led to a match between Punker and Raven. Punk got his knee f***ed up in the build to this match due to a sneak attack on TV. Despite his injury, Punk went through with the match and put up a hell of a fight. The injury proved to be too much, however, as Punk fell victim to a Raven Effect DDT.
NWA X Championship Samoa Joe b. AJ Styles (c) - Joe debuted as a badass tweener at the Feburary PPV and has never been pinned or submitted in TNA. That didn't change here as he absolutely mauled Styles, forcing the ref to stop the match when AJ's body went limp after a series of knees to the head. After the match, Styles was clearly in bad shape and had to be helped by medical staff. Joe didn't give AF tho because he a savage and got his title. AJ was taken off TV after this match to set up an eventual rematch between the two at the August PPV.
Monty Brown b. Jeff Jarrett - Since the world title match was so cold, this got bumped up to the main event. After months of teasing, Brown turned babyface in the build to this match. He's already the most over face in the company and I'm planning on building the company around him this year. He solidified his status as the top face by beating the former world champion Jarrett in decisive fashion.
Hopefully, I'll post the card for Slammiversary later tonight. Like I said, I'm loving this game. I already got plans for Lockdown 2006 which is almost a year away game-wise.

That looks like an awesome save Magic! Can't wait to see more of that and glad that (albeit virtually) the Monty/Jarrett feud is finally happening!

I'm doing a post-Montreal WWF save in 2016 just now that I've just finished up WrestleMania XIV from Fenway Park, the card was as follows:
Tables Match: The Cage Boys defeated Collateral Damage [C] - The opener was a tables match between corporate stooges Collateral Damage (Andrew "Bubba Ray Dudley" Riggs and Darren "D-Von Dudley" Murtaugh) who have been running into the Cage Boys (Adam "Edge" Cage and Christian "Christian" Cage) repeatedly.
WWF Junior Heavyweight Championship Match: Chris Jericho defeated Owen Hart (c) [B] - Owen Hart was awarded the WWF Junior Heavyweight Championship by Vince McMahon at the Royal Rumble, he would then go on to defend the title against various former WCW Cruiserweights who were brought in to the WWF as faces. Chris Jericho has been brought in as a heel and has been doing good work.
WWF World Tag Team Championship Match: The Nation of Domination defeated The New Age Outlaws [B-] - After the Rock joined the Corporation (more on that later) the Nation of Domination turned face and began chasing the New Age Outlaws. However, since Billy Gunn loves steroids, at No Way Out Billy Gunn was replaced with Triple H. So the Nation managed to successfully take the belts so I can have some heels chase (which is the direction my main event is sending.
WWF Intercontinenal & WWF European Title, Title versus Title Match: Ken Shamrock (Euro) defeated The Rock (IC) [B+] - My number two face by booking has been Ken Shamrock, who has happened to have good chemistry teaming with Steve Austin and thus has been his number two in the war against Vince McMahon. Shamrock won the belt off of Triple H and the Rock started with the belt in the data.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Won by Dean Malenko [C-] - I needed to get more people on the show, and what better way than through a big battle royal. I gave the win to Dean Malenko to propel him into a feud with Jericho over the Junior Heavyweight strap.
Grudge Triple Threat Buried Alive Match: The Undertaker defeated Mankind and Kane [A] - So this is culumnation of the Undertaker/Kane feud, I ended up using Mankind as a central player in the feud, so I threw him in the finale match. Mostly to give Taker someone to turn heel on. Leading to the set up of forming the Brothers of Destruction.
Degeneration-X Tribute Grudge Match: Triple H defeated Vader [B] - I needed another match to fill the card, and Vader was the face highest on the card after I built the other mania matches. This was designed to keep the buried alive match from killing the World Title Match. Since Trips is someone I have plans for and it's Vader, I decided to give the win to Trips.
WWF World Heavyweight Championship Match: Steve Austin defeated Shawn Michaels (c) [A] - So, I changed the WWF drug policy to Extreme (Without looking for Soft Drugs), and ran a comprehensive test the first day, everyone that could was sent to rehab, which included WWF champion Shawn Michaels. So, luckily, Shawn was only in rehab for 3 months, so he wouldn't miss WrestleMania. So the majority of this build was done by Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, The Rock, and the rest of the Corporation.
My plans after Mania call for DX, Brothers of Destruction, The Nation of Domination, and maybe the Dangerous Men (Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock) fighting for the Tag titles.
The show was an overall A+, which was nice.
