A follow-up to my "best comic strips" thread. What are the WORST comic strips?

At least for me, probably stuff like Prince Valiant and Mary Worth. I get what they were supposed to be, but they were always the ones I avoided reading completely.

every jumpstart comic is just jam packed with so many words and they always lead to absolutely nothing. have never cracked a smile or engaged in any Deep Thoughts after reading one.

Reading a lot of Comics Curmudgeon has really opened my eyes to how awful Momma is, and some like Marvin are incredibly one-note. Not big on LuAnn, either.
There are worse ones, but Six Chix is just confusing. The punchlines are often a reach or incoherent, with the art not being much better.

Calvin & Hobbes is just plain aggravating and you still can't convince me that Peanuts is nothing more than the tale of Charlie Brown's eternal damnation.

Family Circus, The Spider-man daily strip has the two leads basically be really terrible to each other... Calvin & Hobbes is just plain aggravating. You and me can't be friends -_-

For Better or For Worse is the worst. There is nothing funny about it. Calvin and Hobbs was the first comic in the Sunday Comics section before it ended in the Milwaukee Journal. I was eagerly anticipating what comic would take that coveted top spot. They went with For Better or For Worse. I blame this directly for the need to merge with the Milwaukee Sentinel.

Marvin: Every joke revolves around shit humor. Spectacular Spider-Man: Seriously, this is the Peter Parker you want to see punched in the face. Six Chix: There is nothing redeeming about this daily strip.

For everyone saying Family Circus, let me point out that Dennis the Menace is the exact same strip. It manages to get a pass because it's had a few TV series and movies behind it.
In that same vein about saccharine strips with disgustingly cute kids, Rose is Rose. A week of strips from the POV of the cat or the squirrels in the family's tree is cringeworthy.

I think it's called Between Friends.
I think it's either totally absent of jokes or I need to be a middle aged woman to get it.
Either way, it's awful.

I've seen that one pop up in my local papers from time to time. I don't if it's the artist's intent but that one comes across as a For Better or For Worse clone (minus the real time aging of the characters.) So much so it had been dubbed "Between Foobs" on the Comic Curmudgeon's comment section. Speaking of which the latter half of For Better or For Worse's run was pretty painful to get through...well except for stroke laden tourettes Grandpa, he had his moments.

I had forgotten all about Momma, and while it's not great, I did like how his creator wrote off the strip when he died (Spoiler: Momma dies, and after a lifetime of hypochondria, her tombstone says I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK. I can respect going out on a joke like that.)
