Goldberg isn't a man who loses clean really, if ever? And to add to that Goldberg has beaten Brock at every time- he's Brock's boogeyman.
I'm assuming Lesnar wins at Mania and carries the belt to drop to, most likely, Reigns, but does he beat Goldberg clean?
Saw some rumours that this time Lesnar might squash Goldberg in minutes.
Which brings me to another point- why bring Goldberg back if he can't actually work a match at all beyond two minutes?

Its dependent on whats happening with Goldberg going forward. His contract is up at Mania. If there's a screwy or questionable finish, that tells me Goldberg is sticking around a while so this wont be over. If its clean, thats probably it for Goldberg's run. Its pretty obvious Brock is going to win. If they're really planning a year long build to Roman v Brock at 34, Brock almost has to smash Goldberg clean to make people forget Survivor Series.

Brock smashes Goldberg as clean as Mr. Clean.
I guess if they want to squeeze another Goldberg vs Brock match it will be because you can spit it as when the gold is on the line you fell flat

I want Lesnar to F5 Brock right at the start only for Goldberg to jump to his feet hit the Spear and Jackhammer and beat Brock in seconds yet again. Would be hilarious. Would also be a fun way to write Brock out.

I would have Brock cheat to beat Goldberg in quick fashion, have Paul challenge anyone to a title match Mr Fuji style because they're so confident and then have Balor/Nakamura/Joe/Rollins/The Sea Creature/Whoever come out and beat Brock for the title. The idea of Brock standing tall at the end of Mania makes me want to puke.
Or, mix it up and have Goldberg squash him yet again and get the babyface ending, then the next night in Raw have Brock come out and destroy Goldberg. Steph then immediately makes Goldberg defend the title against newly heel Roman Reigns, who beats Goldberg. Then someone other than Steph makes Roman defend later that night against Balor/Nakamura/Joe/Rollins/The Sea Creature/Whoever and then we get a new champ crowned going into the spring

But yeah, Goldberg's return is entirely commercially motivated. His personal motivation seems sincere in respect to his family, but the company just want the casual fan excited to see someone they know in a high profile spot and return to the fray. I expect Brock to destroy Goldberg and then maybe to juice one of the B PPVs he gets his rematch and loses a little closer and that will be it. HOF induction next year.

I want Brock to shoot Goldberg with a tranq dart in the ass when the ref isn't looking and when the bell rings Goldberg immediately passes out and Brock pins him in the Jericho "YEAH BABY" style

This is a lose-lose situation. Fans have a reason to boo Brock vs. Goldberg AGAIN because neither guy is sticking around long and will basically hold the title hostage, other stars would be better suited in the title match, and I doubt these guys could do very well in the ring to win over the crowd (plus no Stone Cold to cheer for this time). I'd rather Lesnar just squash Goldberg, but that would make all of this a waste of time. The title should NOT have been on the line in this match.

Instant Spear. Jackhammer. Kick out. F5. Kickout. F5. Kickout. F5. F5. Win. Over in 5-8 minutes give or take how long they milk the crowd with shocked faces in between kickouts.

Paul Heyman runs in with a taser to Goldberg, giving Lesnar the win.

We laughed at the idea of Goldberg being in the ring when Brock makes his entrance and does his leap onto the apron and Goldberg instantly spears him to the floor, rolls him back into the ring a Jackhammers him for the win.

Owens vs. Jericho for the title would have been the feud that had the most investment, since it's been hinted at and teased for months, with an insanely hot crowd wanting Jericho to go over.

This might be the least I've ever cared about a Mania main event. I want the two of them f***ing gone forever. Whoever wins, I hope it's quick.

I think that after how this storyline is being built, unless you're getting rid of Brock entirely, he has to win, and he has to win with authority. I have criticised this story from the off, partially due to my bias as a Brock mark, but I think that Goldberg has shown that Brock is not untouchable. That will make all of his future matches more interesting, especially if he beats Goldberg.
'Goldberg has done this before. Maybe this guy is the next one who can do it...'
Obviously that discounts Goldberg being one of those god-tier part-timers who are above the main roster...

I hope Brock gets pawned again. The expectation is Brock going over. The reality would be Brock losing again.
