Here's what ol' Bill had to say:
Okay, so what does that mean?
Alright, there's now a void of the supernatural character in the WWE, but there are other figures. There's Bray Wyatt, there's Finn Balor's Demon King and there's Tommy End.
Not one of these guys can replace the Undertaker, nor should they, but the idea of another Undertaker seems absurd.
Let the character die with Mark Calaway.

There's a golden rule in wrestling; the "new" anything always sucks.

Nope. The crowd would shit all over it, guaranteed. Even with 'Taker's endorsement, it would just come across as hollow.

I think Reigns should be the new Undertaker, complete with hat and coat.

Hmm, kinda like the new Sandman. I get it. Don't know if I'd be on board with it, but it's an idea alright.

I thought that's what Bray Wyatt was there for, but someone in creative hates him and doesn't want him to be that next supernatural monster.
I thought Raw this week was going to start with Roman coming down to the ring in the gear, but he didn't need to given the crowd's reaction.

I'm not sure Apter could pull off black leather and eyeliner, myself.

I think it would've been cool if they had somebody carry on the family mantle as a son of either Taker or Kane. They're both at an age where a son could realistically begin a wrestling career. Problem is, with a lineage like that, you have to have a lot of confidence in somebody to give them that background storyline, lest they make the person a big deal, fairly quick and it goes belly up.

Roman should've started Raw by putting on the coat and hat, becoming Reigns, The Undertaker.

I remember seeing a pic on here a while back that a fan thought Baron Corbin would have been a good replacement. I just can't seeing him having the same powers, if any at all

1) Why did he put on that and coat after the match, only to take them off a minute later?
2) Only Bo Dallas could make this work.

The idea of a spirit or demon that moves from wrestler to wrestler is a good one, but not with the Undertaker. That character is defined solely by the wrestler who played it, and could never be played by anyone else.

I think Reigns should be the new Undertaker, complete with hat and coat. That's what I was hoping would happen on the Raw after Mania. Imagine if after that "UNDER-TAKER" chant that went on for minutes and minutes, you hear the gong, the lights go down, the smoke and everything start up, and this figure that looks like Undertaker in his garb comes out. The crowd erupts. Until he lifts his head up to reveal it's Roman. He then does a mock Taker entrance, complete with eye roll after taking the hat off. You want a modern day wrestling riot? That's how you do it, son!

Reings could do use the cloths cause he is wet all the time, then becomes Roman Rains and only use it to prevent precipations.
Seriously, you know I could see Drew McCintyre/Galloway play that.
From what I saw of him in TNA, he has the intensity and is a big man that can work but he lacks that certain something speicial character-wise. I could see this working. Or maybe not cause his voice is not that deep.

I agree with this. Like Gotham will always need a Batman, WWE could always need an Undertaker. Just not Bruce Wayne.
The spirit of the Undertaker inhabits another mortal vessel. At Wrestlemania 75, there is an Undertaker competing, just not Mark Callaway

If Taker probably didn't have a really fat bank account from years of making the money he did, we'd probably get a scene in a few years where some weirdo indie guy paying Taker to endorse him officially as the new Undertaker, "Nature Boy" Paul Lee style.
