Time to lose 5 times in a row to Roman Reigns

It's difficult to rebuild a monster after they're proven to be beatable.
It can be done but Roman has already beaten him once, he's going to beat him again.
As much as we all rally against it RAW is Reigns for the next several years and the entirety of the show will be built around him.

The real person I feel bad for is Big Show. He puts all of this energy into building Strowman, only for him to be fed to Roman, who doesn't need the rub or heat. Strowman winning needs to happen, but it won't, not after Wrestlemania, Reigns is being booked to God mode and there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it. As bad as many felt Super-Cena was at it's height, Super-Reigns is already looking much worse. Also, I don't think Super-Cena really blocked anyone worth while and most of the bigger stars that put him over were already there and established.

Remember when Rusev was an unstoppable monster? They always mess this up.

Well considering people did not want him in the first place and they built him up, I think he will be fine.

I want Braun to defeat Roman at Payback, think he should and right now believe he will. That said, people complained that Braun losing to Roman before (his one loss, or clean loss, right?), "backing down from Undertaker," not being put in a prominent spot at WM and being eliminated unceremoniously from the ARMBAR (or whatever the battle royal is called) all did NOTHING to derail Strowman's momentum and ability to be believably pushed. If so, this thread and others about the monster wouldn't exist. I can point to specific posts that said he was ruined and could never be credible again ... yet here we are. So, yes, push him to the moon. But I think it's obvious that people overreact to how much 'damage' one or two losses can do. I agree that we all overreact at times. But at this stage with where they have gone, having Roman beat Braun would hurt him. I did not agree that Roman beating Braun at Fastlane hurt him because Roman won because of a mistake Braun made. And everyone and their mother had to remove Braun from the rumble and WM battle royal. So neither of those hurt him. This Payback loss, if it does happen and how it happens, could hurt him. I believe Braun should win. Roman is coming in "injured", so it would not hurt Roman to take the loss. We shall see where WWE intends to take Braun I guess. I just fear for the worst, which brings us back to the overreacting.

So, how far along the traditional WWE "Big Guy" arc are we from "Legit menace" to "dancing babyface"? That only really happens to failed monsters. Umaga didn't, Rusev still isn't one Despite everyone claiming he would have been one like 20 times by now. Kozlov, Khali, Brodus and Tensai did... but Kozlov Khali Brodus and Tensai were collectively about as over as a fart in church when they were treated like legitimate menaces. Tensai did it twice.

I don't mean to be negative, but how is it possible to not mess him up? If he loses to Reigns (or whatever big face they want to conquer him) then he'll lose his mystique. If he keeps winning forever, he'll be boring as hell to watch in about two or three months and everyone will get sick of him. The character doesn't have a shelf life.
As lame as the dancing monster is, dude's gonna need SOME kind of new character a year from now.

They are going to run out of stunts soon and even if he beats Roman and Brock for the title what then?

If (when) Roman wins, he should at least do so by any means necessary. It should be after an amazing, hard match, by the skin of his teeth, with questionable tactics. WWE is afraid to make him go full heel, but let him be badass tweener anyway. Just don't give him a basic win, ending with him on his feet, fists in the air like it was any other match. So, think Umaga/Cena last man standing? I'll take you're word. I was on a few year hiatus during that & haven't gone back to watch it.

You should give it a watch, it's one of the better done LMS matches with a damn good ending that makes a ton of sense. Umaga looked like a f***ing beast coming out of that match.

I think Braun will win. The beatdown and "injury" of Reigns was probably to give him an excuse to lose at Payback.
Also WWE apparently want to do Braun/Brock before they get to Brock/Roman plus Reigns already beat Strowman at Fastlane.
