If I could wake up in a different place, at a different time, could I wake up as a different person?

Jason...
There was a relative down the line named Jason who everyone called Jase. My dad liked Jase so decided to go the same route with me.
Or so he says....
True story here folks: One day in May of 1980 my folks deided to hit the local drive-in to see that spiffy new horror movie, Friday the 13th. Just a few hours after the film finished.... my mom went into labor. Now im no genius but seeing that my mother HATES horror movies, youd think she'd have vetoed the Jason idea.
Yeah, the Jase thing is official... but story #2 is real and ive used it to freak people out for like 15 years now. Im a HUUUUUUGEEEEE fan of Mr.Voorhees, because of his work more than his name.
Side note: For $4.88 each at Wal-Mart.... I recently picked up the first 8 FT13th films. With the employees discount, thats under 40$ for the bulk of the series. Sweet deal IMO.

Desiree. My mom was tired of the generic Hispanic names in my family, plus my dad got to name all of his sons so it was only fair that my mom name her only daughter. She saw my name in some book about Napoleon (not Dynamite before anyone pulls that out. ) Besdies, it could've been worse, I could've gotten my dad's ex-wife's name, Gladys.

Eric. My parents were looking for a name with Norwegian heritage and went with it. Their other option was Bjorn and if I was a girl they would have named me Andrea. The funny part is, my now ex girlfriend was originally going to be named Pollie, had things gone a little differently we would have been Bjorn and Pollie, now THERE's a couple

My Dad was stabbed and at one point actually died. He named me after the wife of the Doctor who brought him back to life (Chloe).
..If only my Father was Kevin Smith. Then I would have been named Harley Quinn.

My name was picked by my mother so as to avoid being named Peter as my dad would have it. Childhood is hard enough, thanks mom.

Parents originally planned to name me Damien, but around a month before I was due, The Omen hit theaters. So they went with my great-grandfather's name instead.
