Eh if fans from other nations wanna root for 'their guy' regardless of presentation, let em. Not hurtin anything for em to be stoked yeah let em. My point was how easily everyone can be manipulated Someone being a fan of someone just means they like the guy for whatever their own reason is, not that they were tricked into it. Is it really so hard to believe the guy just might have some supporters just because you personally don't like him?

It's about people rooting for their fellow countrymen Think Jinder got media coverage in India like this a few months ago? They are building him bigtime as a (very stereotypical) Indian guy that's from India that speaks Punjab (also hates America)...just to get Indians to root for him If I were an Indian, I wouldn't root for him cause he's not that talented or special, easy as that. Also he acts like a heel

Also he acts like a heel How is he a stereotype? Are all Punjabi's really rich dudes that arrive in limo's and fancy 3 piece suits and have meterosexual midget man servants? There is a difference between guys incorporating their own culture and blatant racist stereotypes. Plus I'm sure many people in India are just happy to see a guy of Punjabi heritatage who can speak the language fluently having major success in a company like WWE. I'm not even a big Jinder fan and I'm still very skeptical of this title reign and yet I even have a little bit of pride that a fellow Canadian and Albertan is having success in the WWE. Like I said if I was a wrestler I would probably incorporate a lot of weird Canadian Redneck slangs into my catchphrases, movesets, etc. Like I'm blown away nobody calls a 2 Cream and 2 Sugar in the States as a Double Double. That would be the name of one my set up moves. Like Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Benoit, Jericho, Edge & Christian, and a shit ton of Canadian wrestlers were my favorites as kid simply because they were Canadian. Even if many of them were heels at the time.

You like to see people that you can identify with succeed.

^Does Jinder even have merch? He got his first shirt today. Here's the real tragedy, he finally got a sick logo (and a new name thingy with the back design!) with this shirt, but only after the title already has been updated with his generic-ass, Papyrus-font-using sideplates.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I kinda feel like Jinder is killing it right now. And he was surprisingly over in Chicago. Randy made him look like a million bucks.
