Dude tipped over 2 feet and they act like he was turned to a pile of goo. Also, what does Kalisto get from winning (aside from "beaten up")?

But if they didn't make Braun look strong there will be way more bitching. In fact I'm sure some people are mad that Strowman lost. This is the best case scenario give Kalisto a win but continue pushing the narrative Strowman puts people in the hospital.

Plus I thought the match was fun and I like Kalistos new look and music.

And I'm sorry, but there was NO reason to have Braun lose. I don't care if he massacred Kalisto after, he just got made to look like an utter chump.

I liked it. It's not going to hurt Braun to pick up a fluke loss in a gimmick match. The dumpster off the stage spot was pretty anti-climactic but the way Strowman was man-handling Kallisto during and after the match made him look like an absolute beast.

The match was super appropriate since this RAW was Trash.

The idea of Strowman losing to anyone, much less freakin Kalisto, a week before a big PPV match with Reigns is just baffling. Seriously this might be a worse booking move than the Jinder silliness last week, which mostly served to push Mahal and didn't especially bury anyone. Think about this: Braun Strowman basically all but killed Roman Reigns a few weeks ago. He shattered the ring with Big Show last week. This week he does a goofy, fluky job to Kalisto, who hasn't even been on TV in forever. And Kalisto was immediately destroyed and tossed off the stage, so really he gains nothing.

I don't mind that Strowman lost, I mind that the segment went on and on and on and on and on and the beatdown was completely meandering instead of savage like it should have been.

I really liked those "deadlift"(sort of since Kalitso was kipping up) chokeslames BRAUN did. Of course, I was hoping for BRAUN to chokeslam Kalisto straight into the dumpster.

They could have at least made the dumpster explode after BRAUN pushed it off the stage. With Kalisto stumbling out covered in flames. That would have made Raw drastically more entertaining. Next month Kalisto could have challenged BRAUN to an Inferno Match, only to have BRAUN chokeslam Kalisto into a huge dumpster filled with flames. Kurt Angle would show no concern over this escalating violence.

I find it a bit melodramatic to think that Strowman losing the way he did actually damages him in any way. We're so quick to dismiss match results any other time based on how they win, yet the one time it makes sense to do so, we don't?

Yeah, really the only way I take issue with the finish is how they just kind of suddenly changed the rules to do it that way. Could've had the Benoit / Big Show spot dump Braun in, quick slam of the lid, then Braun jumps right back out and kills him, same outcome except without having to change the rules to get there.

Strowman losing (in principle) is the perfect ending.

Kallisto is never say die babyface.

Braun gets to kill him afterwards.

Makes perfect sense to me.

It could have worked if Kalisto was smart enough to high tail it out of the ring and have Braun beat up ring crew or security instead.

I was ultimately fine with it. Kalisto got a sneaky win and wasn't a complete doofus, and Braun made him pay dearly and kept his heat.
