I have a slight minor issue with Lapsed Fan. It's that the host every so often or funny bit needs to remind us we're listening to the lapsed fan podcast. I don't need to be reminded every freakin' time I'm listening to the lapsed fan podcast.
But I do respect the research and humor that goes into these shows. Over the edge '99 being a particularly well done episode.

I like those videos on youtube of them talking about Wrestlemanias and Starrcades with Meltzer, the actual podcasts are just wayyyyy too long for me to even bother giving a shot to.

I'm kinda disappointed that it's another 2 hour in your house from 97 this week they've been doing a lot of them lately and most of them are pretty uneventful and the important stuff happened on Raw.I guess its good to get them out of the way but I'd like some variety.

Though I have my issues with Lapsed Fan from time to time. I do really like them and will take their show over a lot of other wrestling pods. The Attitude Era podcast is particularly annoying. Though if you ever wanted a 30 minute discussion on how wrestling fans should be ashamed for fat shaming Vader. It may be your deal. I agree with you on the Attitude Era podcast. I heard a lot of good reviews about it, but when I listened they seemed to get offended by absolutely everything from that period. It kind of got a little too preachy for me to enjoy.

It didn't start out that bad but toward the end the host of the show got really SJW about absolutely everything. And in the last podcast I heard they were talking about how KAITLYN was one of the best women wrestlers in WWE history.

To be fair, there were a LOT of offensive things in the Attitude Era, especially with the way the women were treated (which, as someone who regularly listens to this series, was probably their main source of discontent).

Okay what stuff shouldn't they have been offended by that they were because I've agreed every time with them whenever they criticised the WWE or the signs in the crowd for being as disgusting as they were? Despite rightly having a go at the WWE's awful treatment of women they are one of the most positive, not to mention hilarious podcasts out there.

I just much prefer the OSW and Lapsed Fan approach, embrace that it was from a different time period and laugh about it, save the moral outrage for the twitterati
