WWE have just announced they have cancelled the upcoming NXT house show at Manchester Arena on June 6th, following the suicide bomb attack earlier this week at the Ariana Grande concert held in that building. They are offering ticket holders either a refund, or a transfer to the June 7th house show in Leeds the next day. NXT wrestlers will be in Manchester on June 6th to visit with victims and participate in charity events for those affected by the tragedy.

Considering the circumstances, very understandable.

I had tickets to this so I am a bit gutted but I understand why and expected as much.
I'd take them up on the Leeds offer but I'm going to Download festival that day.

Good on them. It's understandable and at this point, a major public event will just be a burden on the city (thinking enhanced police and military presence, investigation still under way etc, the possibility of a second bomb still out there)

Totally understandable, and an extremely classy move sending the superstars out to meet with the victims in lieu of the show.

Yeah meeting with the victims is cool as hell of them.

Absolutely impressed by WWE here. I'm not sure if talent would be in the area either way, but to cancel the show and mobilize talent and meet with people effected is just great, especially with a lot being kids.
Edit - also shows that they've moved on a bit from the "show must go on" attitude.

It's still a crime scene, and the damage is going to take a long time to fix.

Probably unavoidable due to the circumstances. Real classy of the NXT wrestlers meeting with the injured victims in lieu of the show.

Smart decision, it'll take some time before people will feel safe going to a show at that arena.

Tomorrow night's The Courteneers will be performing at Old Trafford cricket ground which can hold up to around 65,000. Tomorrow is also the FA Cup Final in London which will hold around 90,000. I think it will be a while before we see anything at the Manchester arena though, mainly due to it being a huge crime scene and also there was some talk of damage to structural integrity of the building.

I don't wish to be argumentative, but I think you under-estimate how Brits react to this sort of thing. If it was practically possible to hold an event at the Manchester Arena the night after the terrorist attack, I guarantee that the arena would be full, and probably thousands more would turn up outside as an act of solidarity and defiance.

There's a lot of other events being canceled there too; I doubt it has a lot to do with the way WWE phrased it as being out of respect, and much more to do with the arena having sustained damage in the blast that will need to be dealt with, and potentially is still being looked at by assorted agencies. A few concerts this weekend and next week have also been canceled/moved.
