According to the mlw radio website Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Sean Mooney are teaming up for a podcast.
Is everyone else excited?

Huge fan of Hacksaw so I'll check it out for a few eps and see if I wanna add it to the rotation.

"Hi folks I'm Sean Mooney and with the arrival of summer, things are heating up in World Wrestling Entertainment. There is one person who has been following the action and is standing by for comment. He's none other than the man made in the USA, Hacksaw Jim Duggan!"
"HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Hey folks! I bet you all wanna know what ol' Hacksaw Jim Duggan thinks of this Jinder Mahal! He likes to run his mouth all the time about how he doesn't like it here in the good ol U-S of A! Well it seems to me that he doesn't get that he only has the freedom to do that because he's in the land of the free and the home of the brave! I wouldn't be surprised to see someone shut him up real soon, Tough Guy! HOOOOOOOO!"
"When it comes to analysis of the happenings in the WWE, the man with the 2" x 4" is a cut above the rest. I'm Sean Mooney. We'll see you next time"
*Elevator-music-sounding jazzish tune plays them out*

You know, this might not be a bad thing. Mooney's got cred as a news anchor, while Duggan's well-regarded in the business with both co-workers and fans. Their rapport will depend largely on whether this will be an independent podcast or one underwritten by WWE. If the latter, you will see classic "USA, USA" Duggan. If the former, you're more likely to get a more nuanced discussion.

I'm going to reserve judgement until it comes out. I remember when I heard Bruce Prichard was going to come out with a podcast and my exact words I believe were, "Brother F'N Love, WTF?" We all saw how that turned out with it or the Jim Cornette Experience being the best wrestling podcast today.

I have too many podcasts to listen to already. I'll give them a shot but it sure is an odd combination. Can we get Outback Jack and Tim White next time?

Only if the "Buffalo" soundbite for Tatanka plays throughout their show as often as the commercials that interrupt Prichard's MLW podcast do.

I'm sure it was a joke about SummerSlam '90. "Hacksaw! Hacksaw! Have you seen Sweet Sapphire?" "No, no I haven't, Dust. But we're all still looking for her."
