I'm trying to find the right way to word this, but what periods of a wrestler do you not enjoy? Like, not gimmicks as such, but what incarnations? I'll attempt to explain what the hell I'm talking about with my picks; "Face of America" Kevin Owens: just doesn't work at all. Cheap, go-nowhere heat, lifeless promo's. Terrible. Owens is great but this stuff is garbage. "New Day Pops" New Day: for me, this was when their already tired schtick made them unwatchable, and was when WWE seemed to give up on them being an actual tag team with a point and purpose and just made them schilling merch machines who would run through their catchphrases every week. "Suplex City" Brock Lesnar: once this became a catchphrase it was all over for Lesnar for me. Then his matches seemed to be "let's literally count how many German suplexes he does", and Heyman and the commentary team would say "Suplex City" as many times as the fans would chant it. Obnoxious, boring shit. So, there. Specific time periods you don't like of wrestlers you maybe do like? I actually enjoy all of these. Wish Brock wasn't holding the Universal title hostage though.

Uber push Bobby Lashley. He was in no way ready for that kind of push to the top, it was more artificial and forced than Cena at his worst. It's ironic that it's in post WWE, in TNA of all places, that he finally got sharp enough to seem like a viable to guy.,

Agree, I like the whole "Lord Of Darkness" gimmick but yeesh the matches SUCKED (Plus 99 gave us the Desert promo) In-ring, ABA Taker was pretty hard to sit through as he was firmly in "give anyone under 6'6'' nothing" mode. Yeah he was very dickish at that point in time

I like Undertaker a lot, but there was a period from around late 1998 to mid 1999 where he was stinking out the joint for almost every PPV match. When I last went back through watching the Attitude Era shows I seriously couldn't believe how terrible he was during that time. Ministry Undertaker was the pits. 1999 has to be the worst year of The Undertaker's career overall. Dude had a list of injuries a mile long and was having just terrible matches as a result. And I know a lot of people loved the Ministry gimmick, but as an Undertaker fan, I consider it his lowest point as a character.

King Barrett. Going from the Bad News gimmick to that just sucked.

I agree with all of those. Suplex City Brock is my most hated. Also thought WWE champion/Authority bitch Rollins was painfully boring (but that wasn't entirely his fault) I'd actually say this current face run of Seth's is worse. I just don't buy into him at all. Matches are great, hell of a talent, but he never had THAT face turn moment to really make me root for him, and something just isn't clicking with me now. I know that I'm in the minority but I actually like the current Rollins as a face as it's really been the only time since the Shield broke up that I've been at least somewhat invested in him. Comes off like a nice enough down to earth guy who at the same time doesn't take crap from people. Perfectly fine and relatable which is what you what for a babyface character. Yeah it's not the greatest but it definitely beats his boring Triple H Jr. heel run and how he was acting as a face late last year and earlier this year where he still acting like a jerk and threating to beat up children.

Heel Rikishi in late 2000. I have read some people say that they liked his heel run, and while that is fine that they do, I really did not like him as a heel. It didn't work for a number of reasons. What surprises me is that this was when Russo was not writing for them, so the creative team did have a surprise revelation for that, but him trying to act evil just did not work, BECAUSE right before the heel turn, he was still doing his run with Too Cool. I know that Rikishi was over with the fans. Okay, let me backtrack a bit. He could have worked as a heel if they changed some stuff up with his character. First off, get rid of the sumo thong because that was one of the elements that got him over as a face. Have him wear some longer tights, similar to what he wore as Fatu or even something like what his late cousin Yokozuna wore. Also, have him stop using the Stink Face. That was another thing that got him over as a face. I couldn't take a heel seriously with that move.

Take away the fact that it was dumb turning him to begin with, I think his heel run could've worked if they just simply changed his gear. Hard to take someone serious as a killer heel when he's wrestling in a damn thong. It's hard to believe they didn't realize how dumb that looked.

Riot gear Bossman.I could tolerate him as Vince's corporate stooge but post 2000 the guy was ridiculously stale.
I remember the crowd groaning when his theme music hit.

Breezango, right now. While they're entertaining, the minute I remember it's a model and a dancer who are pretending to be policemen I get a headache.

If I can go off-WWE-topic here, I disliked KM in two periods: now and forever.

Austin during the Invasion, because he made all the WCW/ECW guys look like shit and it spawned the "WHAT" chants.

The Outlaws had no idea how to work heel by then, as Road Dogg still did the entire entrance and all. Yes he added "...to your mothers" when he mentioned doggy style, but still. Ministry Taker...my dad didn't even understand it and found it boring, and he was a big UT fan.
