I think it should be healthy to post how I really feel now and again -
- I really, really need to shit - I'm horny now - When's lunch?

Yeah... damn politics rule!
It's generally a fine rule, no need to get into the day-to-day nature of politics and politicians here. The trouble is politics basically seeps into everything, some things you'd hope are above politics but rules are rules.
It's understandable, it should be a light-hearted pop culture board to escape such things but... it still feels really wrong sometimes.

Not really, this place isn't "real" to me. It's just a fun place to kill time. I don't really give a shit if I disagree with people here or whatever.

I always do so I'm not sure what you mean. Same, lmao. I ain't about to lie, I talk straight up reckless on here sometimes because I'm just typing my conscious steam of thoughts.

Which is a shame because I love House of Cards yet can probably never talk about it due to what it's about.

I take it as a challenge to take that instantaneous "WHAT SORT OF SUBHUMAN DICK MUTANT WOULD THINK THAT?!?!" reaction and have to craft it into a response that meets certain rules of etiquette.
It's like we have to channel our inner Brain Gremlin when posting. Ripping someone apart with cusses and gifs would be fun but civilized? Clearly not.

Nah, not too much. I'm usually pretty happy when I'm here, and worry I night say something that's against the rules.

Nah, I've reached a point where I don't get rustled anymore. I'll debate people I disagree with, but that's my nature.
There's one exception, and that's when people defend shitty people/actions in instances where it shouldn't come down to opinion.

In threads I mean. We are all super nice to everybody all the time. Building them up. Feeding their cry for attention. Making them just feel goddamn chipper. Yeah, you and I are definitely different people. Only time I ever feel hamstrung is over political discussion and I have plenty of other places for that.
