If there is any celebrity not currently in the HOF that should go in, my pick would be Jerry.
He has made a number of appearances on Raw and once hosted a show on the WWE Network.
But most importantly, his shock tv is synonymous with the pop culture of the late 90s, which juxiposes with the edginess of the Attitude Era. His shock tv interviews is said to be the inspiration for the direction the WWE was taking their characters in the Attitude Era.
If the likes of Drew Carey and Snoop Dog can earn a spot amougst professional wrestlers elitiests, then why not also include the show whose long-running talk show was kayfabed just like wrestling.

He probably will go in someday. I would just prefer others first like Cyndi Lauper or Muhammad Ali.

While Springer is more worthy then say Drew Carey or Snoopy Dogg Dogg he is not even the top 15 most notable/important celebs yet to be inducted into the celebrity wing. Imo he still is in line behind the following
1.Andy Kaufmann 2.Cindy Lauper 3.Mohammad Ali 4.Regis Philbin 5.Mike Mizanin 6.Insane Clown Posse 7.Floyd Mayweather 8.Laurence Taylor 9.Arsenio Hall 10.Dennis Rodman 11.Hugh Jackman 12.Flo Rida 13.Maria Menounos 14.Tiny "Zeus" Lister 15.William Shatner

I'd put Bob Barker in before Springer, for that "Price is Raw" skit alone.
But Cyndi Lauper is the celebrity who deserves to be inducted before anyone else.

Cyndi Lauper is the most glaring omission from the celebrity wing of the HOF.
Behind her you have the aforementioned Muhammad Ali, Andy Kaufman, Floyd Mayweather, Maria Menounos, and Dennis Rodman. All strong candidates.
Lawrence Taylor is deserving as well, but obviously his legal troubles are a hindrance.
However, we'd be remiss to forget David Arquette. The dude's a former World Champion!
So should Jerry Springer be inducted? Probably not. At least not before any of the names I just rattled off. But the real question is, is the celebrity wing of the HOF even a thing anymore?

He didn't rape or kill anyone, so he's going to have to wait at the back of the line.

The guy paid a hooker with a personal check while being a councilman.
Of COURSE he should go in

I'm at the point where if somebody asks "Should (so-and-so) go in the WWE HOF?"
"Sure, what the hell."

I'm no Miz fan, but he should and will be inducted on his own merits as a wrestler, not a celeb. I am sure The Miz will be offered a spot in the WWE HOF as wrestler when the time comes, but he has gone Hollywood now and would rather be in a wing with hot shots like The Governator,Mr. T and Drew Carey

I'm at the point where if somebody asks "Should (so-and-so) go in the WWE HOF?" "Sure, what the hell." Yeah. The WWE HOF is pretty well-known for being more of a PR stunt to advertise for WrestleMania than an attempt at a legitimate HOF (why, again, is Rock not in there?) so put in whoever you want.
