My mom just got back from a funeral and she and some friends had way to many drinks. One of her friends had to bring her home and basically carry her in.
She was throwing up and crying and laying on the floor. Now shes asleep.
I have never delt with a drunk person before and I dont know what to do. Is it good for her to be asleep or bad? Im clueless and im the only other person here. I dont want anything to happen to her.

If she's just drunk, she should be fine. You may wanna have aspirin or coffee or at least some water at the ready when she wakes up, depending on how she has hangovers.

If she's just drunk, she should be fine. Ok, thank you. Thats the disadvantage of not drinking. I dont know what to do if someone else is drunk. I just didnt know if it was ok for her to sleep or not. Cause ive heard about people dieing from choking on their on vomit and stuff. But she seems to be sleeping fine.

Alcohol makes you sleepy. Its normal to want to go to sleep. Just make sure shes on her side and she should be ok.

Just keep an eye on her if need be.. but unless it was some HUGE amount of alcohol, she should be ok.

Yeah, she sounds fine, but if I can offer a word of advice from dealing with my drunk friends. Be prepared for her to probably have a wicked hangover tomorrow morning.

If she does somehow manage to wake up soon then give ehr a pint of water to try and get one step ahead of the hangover.

Not only does Gatorade taste better, it quenches your thirst better too.

My dad drank a lot when I was a kid (love that man, not knockin him at all... for the shit he has dealt with im amazed he --nevermind) so ive kinda known this stuff all my life and im able to joke about it, and I AM NOT disrespecting you or trying to make light of the situation...
From the state you describe she is done for the evening so shes not gonna drive/ mouth off to anyone/ etc... thats good. If she wakes up anytime soon wanting to drive, stop her.
Keep her off her back ---stfu--- so she doesnt swallow her vomit.
Damn. I wanna make a CM Punk sXe joke to lighten the situation for you but DAMN... it seems really bothersome to you so ima let it be.
You mentioned a funeral so im pretty sure shes been through some shit tonight, DO NOT hound her about this in the morning. The more you go on and on about it the worse shell feel. Voice your concern, hug the hell out of her, tell her you love her, and move on.
Hope things get better for her man, and you as well.

pedialyte is also a great day after drunkiness solution to a bad hangover. It tastes disgusting, which makes one think twice about getting really bombed but it works better than that Gatorade. I usually drink gatorade when I'm hung over.
