You might also want to try Infinite Crisis. I know some people DESPISE it, but I thought it was quite good.

see, what I like about what I've read of Infinite Crisis is who the villains are, and that it actually makes great sense. turning heroes from 20 years ago into villains now was a neat twist.

You know I originally meant to write IDENTITY Crisis, but it still works either way. Both were devisive.

The only thing that I currently follow is the Batman canon (Batman/Detective Comics). My roommate presently buys a TON of titles every month, however, although we're pretty much strictly DC fans.

If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it be multiple choice!" In addition to Batman/Detective Comics, I'm thinking of picking up the new Justice League of America.

You know I originally meant to write IDENTITY Crisis, but it still works either way. Both were devisive. well, to be fair, Identity Crisis was part of the whole "countdown to Infinite Crisis" arc that DC did that year, and I was thinking of picking that one up first (along with Villains United, being the Lex Luthor mark I am). "Day of Vengeance" is pretty high on my list too.

Comics are like crack... I know, because I'm hooked.
Let's see...
Usagi Yojimbo, Hellboy and BRPD, Batman books, All Star Superman (and not Bat-Marv), 52, JLA, JSA, anything written by Grant Morrison and Garth Ennis and Warren Ellis and Mark Millar, Godland, Spawn, Savage Dragon, all of the Ultimate books, Wolverine and Wolverine Origins, Civil War, New Avengers, Punisher, Strangers in Paradise, Mouse Guard, Simpsons, Hero Squared, Shaolin Cowboy, Boneyard, Queen and Country, John Woo's Seven Brothers...
I think that's about it.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the Marvel Legacy books (I can't wait for the 90's one to come out).
