"I must say I actually like that the Demon King entrance was teased but instead we got our usual 2 Sweet Baboo showing up." Mine, from the Rate the Raw thread from last night.
I do like it, a lot, and not just for the obvious "Ooh, Finn's here, yay!" vibe or the "EHRMAGERD! DERMERN KERNG!" response I had every expectation of having. This development - that Finn's "gifts" don't necessarily require the bodypaint or the headdress or the crawling to the ring - takes everything we've known about this character over the last 2.5 years and shatters it, gilds and bejewels the pieces and puts them back together. This is Finn up-leveled. If our dear, sweet Finn can teleport into a ring and pummel Bray Wyatt into a mortified retreat without even taking off his jacket, what in the name of all that's good and holy will the Demon King be capable of if he's utterly unleashed?
I may have joked about Doug Henning taking out David Blaine in an earlier thread, but someone from WWE must be lurking here if they've pulled the trigger on a babyface not only dominating in a feud like this, but actually driving the narrative. We are witnessing Finn's slow emergence as WWE's new channel of the supernatural.
Or are we? Thoughts?

I have to say I did actually like Finn showing some aspects of his Demon persona without the paint or the full entrance. It added a bit of nuance to the character.
I'm not a fan of Finn by any stretch but he seems like someone they invested some time in and that they could make a lot of money with, so I am quite pleased he's finally finished with the f***ing Drifter and is actually having a feud with Bray. The only issue is that neither guy can really afford a loss, because Finn still hasn't found his feet since coming back from injury and Bray loses to every motherf***er on Earth.
