In the future, I'm going to remember this kind of shit when I wanna go off on how bad the WWE is. Not that they're saints, because lord knows they aren't. But they haven't reached this level of ridiculousness

I would really like to see her contract because the article seems to suggest that she learned that they wanted 10% after she took on the new role. You would think that she would know that beforehand if it was in her contract. My guess is that GFW used very vague language and tried to use it to cover non-wrestling television roles and she was having none of it.

If this is their standard policy, that they even tried to force into the Hardyz, I imagine Lashley is on his way out. No way is he gonna share his MMA money. This is the most insane thing ever. Which goes back to my post, is this a standard clause or is it for all but those who GFW feel have no bargaining power? I'm betting it's the latter - they clearly felt the Hardys weren't in a position to negotiate, while I doubt the likes of Alberto and Prichard are giving up any of their non-Anthem income, given GFW is more of a side gig for them.

So it's likely that since she worked for us, that is what got her the job, so we are owed a kind of finder's fee, only wen want it in installments that last for as long as she does that job. Our audience of 300.000 will make you famous! Call 432-GET-FAME

I feel like GFW intentionally asked Brandi for 10% of her earnings HOPING she'd tell them to shove it and walk out.

Only desperate people would want to work for this Mickey Mouse type of organization.
There's no upside none at all. Only bottom of the barrel Indy guys want to work here.
When their deals end, I don't think the top echelon of talent would stay. What's ec3's incentive to be here? The indies pay better you can actually sell shirts and keep the money, you don't have to pay for outside bookings.

If you use the restroom at a GFW event, do they take 10% of your turd?

I'm getting a little concerned they'll demand a 10% tithe from all members here for posting in the TNA/GFW forum.

It's sad, but I think I can follow their twisted logic, at least a tiny bit. I don't agree with it, mind you, but I think I know the internal logic that Ed is clinging to. Well, we do a TV show, and that's a type of entertainment, and she left us to take some other acting job that is also on TV, so it's the same thing, since both shows are shows. So it's likely that since she worked for us, that is what got her the job, so we are owed a kind of finder's fee, only wen want it in installments that last for as long as she does that job. Same for Jeff Hardy, since music is also a kind of entertainment, and people might garner some enjoyment from it, as they hypothetically would from GFTNAW, so if both things can make someone say "This is fun" then they're connected, and so Ed wants money. It's thin, it has no merit, and if anyone has a lawyer worth a damn, GFW is sunk the first time someone takes them to court over this "business model". Sadly, some people will still sign on, probably with the idea of "Well, I"m a big star, so they wouldn't do that to ME, right?" The would, they will, and it leaves the rest of us wondering how the hell someone with this logic pattern, with this train of reasoning, has managed to make his company, his business, network, or even some lemonade stand in his front yard successful. Hell, on the lemonade stand analogy, it's basically this. Well, I've got a lemonade stand, and it's not doing so well, and down the street, the Girl Scouts are selling cookies, and they're giving out cups of juice if you buy cookies since it's hot. I sell a drink, and they have a drink at their stand, so that means we're the same. So even though the Girl Scouts have been around forever, and are bigger and more established, some of the girls that are at the stand are people I know who might help me with my lemonade stand. So that means, that if they help me out when they come to hang out, I get to have the Girl Scouts give me money because of my lemonade stand. My head hurts from that, but to me, that's Ed's mindset. I can also wrap my head around this mentality when it comes to them wrestling somewhere else. In a sense, they can help promote GFW by wrestling elsewhere. So GFW feels they are owed a piece of that. It's thin, it's bad business, but I can kind of understand it. What makes zero sense to me, is applying that to something non wrestling related. It's not something related to GFW. It's something they are doing on the side. It's their own thing. WWE doesn't demand a cut of the money Chris Jericho makes when he tours with Fozzy. This just screams greed.

Its' funny, but on the Jeff Hardy front, their attempt to get money from his art and music, if they put it in writing which I'm sure they did when they asked for it, sinks them harder than anything else. Jeff did art work when he was with WWE, he was already working on music stuff and the band existed when he was with them. So if TNA says "Well, we want a cut of whatever Jeff makes off of that stuff that he was already working on getting going when he was with WWE" then by their own logic anything like that belongs to WWE, so them attempting to get make money from it is the same logic as WWE theoretically asking for the Broken stuff. If GFTNWA pushes for the Jeff Hrady music/art money, then they by their own admission lose on the Broken stuff instantly.

These policies dude....! Ed Nordholm is really bad at his job. Anthem should fire him and replace him by Jerry Jarrett. So that Jeff's heart explode.

FFS... I fully expect them to send a letter to Joe, AJ, Roode, and Young that they owe TNA 40% of all of their WWE earnings. McDevitt won't have it.
