Did you have ideas for the third one? Yeah, we were talking about the Sinister Six. They were going to make a Sinister Six movie before we did the third one. But I wanted...Chris Cooper was going to come back and play the Goblin. We were going to freeze his head, and then he was going to be brought back to life. And then there was that character called The Gentleman. We had some notions about how to do it, but I think maybe we were thinking too far ahead when we started building in those things. But it was a fun exercise. I look back very fondly on those days. Aside from Chris' head, did you have a villain you might have wanted to bring in? Well, that was going to be the main villain. He was going to come out and lead the Sinister Six. We had talked about Vulture a little bit too, actually.... www.denofgeek.com/uk/movies/sinister-six/51212/the-amazing-spider-man-3-and-sinister-six-details-surface

There was a series of Spider-Man novels that featured the Sinister Six and a mysterious backer called The Gentleman. I don't think Norman Osborn's disembodied head was part of the plot, though.

Wasn't it announced Amazing Spider-man 3 was going to have Zombie Gwen Stacy? Sorta doing the Carnage saga from the Ultimate Verse... There was a series of Spider-Man novels that featured the Sinister Six and a mysterious backer called The Gentleman. I don't think Norman Osborn's disembodied head was part of the plot, though. Silvermane's disembodied head was a thing though

So stupid. I'm not Homecomings biggest fan, but I'm so glad the ASM franchise came to a sudden halt.

Man, I loved the first Amazing movie. I still consider it the best Spider-Man movie ever (yeah, I put it a notch above Homecoming). And after watching that movie it seemed like that version of the franchise had so much potential. But reading more and more on what their plans were to follow things up with, it makes me more and more appreciative that the second movie tanked and they had to scrap everything.

Dumb. Sony deserves all the problems it has.

Why even bring Cooper back when you already introduced him, killed him off, and replaced him in the same f***ing movie? So what would you do with Harry?
Honestly, I'd rather the Sinister Six not include Green Goblin. I know he was a member, but to me he's just so much better by himself.
To me, the Sinister Six needs a couple big hitters and more supporting guys.
Big hitters: Doc Ock, Scorpion, Mysterio, Kraven, Vulture, Sandman.
Supporters: Rhino, Shocker, Chameleon, Beetle, Hammerhead, Boomerang, Tombstone, Hydro-man.

Sadly, the idea of Norman's frozen head was vaulted by the Marvel/Disney folks, and currently resides...........in a cryo chamber Disney wants you to think doesn't exist.....
