I f***ing hate that this company will not die, and everyone is enabling it.
F***.

If I'm Anthem how long till I keep JJ, though. They bought his nowhere company and renamed TNA with that name, brought him in, gave him carte blanche as far as booking and making deals. He made contacts with other promotions for talent exchange but what has it done for this company?
But not unlike the old GFW, Jarrett failed to secure a worthwhile TV deal. I know that networks are not jumping up to get wrestling on their TV but Anthem are still sort of a player in television(at least outside of the US) and they want things to happen, they are not used to failure.
How long till they realise that Jarrett really is selling them a big whole lot of nothing and pull the plug on him?

Considering that Anthem only brought TNA in the first place for cheap content for their sports channels, probably not much of a chance. They knew it was a money loser when they brought it and as long as nobody does anything boneheaded with the money (with someone keeping them in check who isn't a parent of the owner for once), it seems that no drastic changes are going to be made. And also, it's not like they'd have someone readily available to take over the company since the only people who have a history with national wrestling companies are either dead, Eric Bischoff or work for WWE.

And also, it's not like they'd have someone readily available to take over the company since the only people who have a history with national wrestling companies are either dead, Eric Bischoff or work for WWE. I think they went with JJ cause it was a safe choice, he knew TNA, had a history with the company and he sort of made it work for a couple of years. And he was willing to accept their deal. Even if Gabe works for the WWE, he is someone that could be approached to run a whole promotion. Or could have been approached before JJ came in. I think someone like Court Bauer could do something interesting with any companies. He wrote for the WWE, he started his own fed MLW and has good connection in the wrestling business. The guy has a good mind and he mentioned a couple of things about TNA and how hiring JJ was going backwards. His take was similar to Heyman, he had a scorched earth mentality and he said TNA should completely their business model and the way they presented their product. I don't think JJ knows what the pulse of the modern wrestling audience is.

I kind of expected Jarrett to drop them when the deal ran out and just magically expect to pick up a better network. Considering he's already failed to get a TV deal for GFW the first time around, he knew he had to merge with TNA just to even get this deal. Jarrett has already had to eat one slice of humble pie, I imagine he knows this is as good as it's going to get unless Anthem buys out a US network.

How long till they realise that Jarrett really is selling them a big whole lot of nothing and pull the plug on him? One issue here: they gave him carte blanche, let him run the show, let him hire on everyone he liked, and then decided he was doing so damn well with it they should rebrand the company and buy GFW off of him. Either Leonard Asper is a a massive Jeff mark, Jeff has laid the carny moves on hard, or they don't give a shit about results. And given the insane Hardy spite and the fact they gave Jeff increasing amounts of control and sway since their buyout, I'm inclinded to believe they just don't give a shit. Barring scandal or fallout, we're going to be all Jarrett all the time from hereon out.

The better question should be...
They actually earn something from the UK and India?
