I've noticed it lately when i've been flipping channels that they've shown a lot of the classic Teen Titans lately which I guess is good for those who've gotten sick of the TTG as the main shown entity on CN. Are you happy they are showing the "classic" version or are you just indifferent about it.

I'd be more happy if they ran OK KO and Steven Universe more than once every full moon, but that's just me.

I had a lot of love for the show, so, sure, but admittedly, there's only a few episodes I'd make the time to sit down and watch. Not me disparaging the show, just other things I could spend time on than a show I've watched backward and forward many times.

I actually didn't care for the original TT, either. Too many anime shortcuts.
I just want variety. The network is worse than SmackDown when it comes to it's roster. If it wasn't for the app, Mighty Magiswords would be in the Tye Dillinger role.

You're kidding right because good lord Nope, not kidding. TTG has to be bringing in a lot of money or very good ratings for them

Reminder that Cartoon Network has the rights to literally hundreds of thousands of hours of content, including just about every well known cartoon from 1950-1970 not made by Disney.
"Ah we'll just put that Teen Titans show on the schedule 300 times this week, the kids are too dumb to notice"

I'm kind of happy that I grew up during the golden age of Cartoon network. Stuff like cartoon cartoon friday, acme hour, daytime toonami boomerang and the early years of Adult Swim
My guess is that Adult Swim made them enough money that they can be lazy like this during the daytime. Back during their golden age they didn't have adult swim to fall on so they had to have some variety in their schedule.

"Ah we'll just put that Teen Titans show on the schedule 300 times this week, the kids are too dumb to notice" I think their biggest mistake was essentially reforming the Boomerang channel from what it was. Top Cat, Inch High Private Eye, Wacky Races etc.. were all seen on that channel and it was always a treat to see what cartoons they would take out each month and what they would replace it with. For some reason they've made CN a one note bandwagon and right now we are in the era of "colorful and bright" cartoons for them like TTG, the new Ben 10, Powerpuff girls reboot, so even the recent ones that brought CN back up to surface like Adventure Time, Regular Show are sort of phased out for the new era.

TTG has to be bringing in a lot of money or very good ratings for them Part of it I believe is that you can cut like 99% of that chart off. Weekdays from like 8-3 the main demographic of kids are in school. secondly, the fact that they are 15 minute chunks probably helps if they need to schedule around stuff. thirdly... well... again their main demographic is kids... kids don't really watch television. They use netflix, youtube, hulu, other streaming services. So they can watch whatever they want whenever they want to. I guarantee that's why most of Justice League Action is up on their Youtube Channel despite almost never airing on the network.

They started running a full hour of it a couple weeks ago around 6 AM Eastern (when Adult Swim ends). I woke up super early due to a storm and turned on the TV since I was having trouble going back to sleep, and noticed it was on then. I remember setting the DVR since I caught on to the show way too late myself, and it went from recording 2 episodes a day to 4, so they started another hour at some point. I had to stop recording them because there was no way I was gonna keep up. I just want to watch a few anyway to scratch the itch.
As for CN, I mean...that way of scheduling has to be doing something. Let's not pretend Nickelodeon hasn't been guilty of similar with Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents. And CN has been doing it for awhile; I know they would've had less original stuff at the time, but they ran the SHIT out of any/everything Scooby-Doo in the mid/late 90s.

I do agree with you in regards to the school but in regards to the chart it said it was in July so one can assume they are playing TTG go so hard because kids aren't in school. It will be interesting to see the difference now considering school is back in session or starting in the next week for others. I do think it's weird that they sort of hyped Justice League Action early on but i've never actually seen an episode premiere on CN but as you said kids will watch on the go

"Ah we'll just put that Teen Titans show on the schedule 300 times this week, the kids are too dumb to notice" Sadly, nowadays things that came before 1970 are being ignored as a whole. If we didn't have subchannels like MeTV, Antenna, etc. etc., they'd pretty much be extinct. And don't get me started on FM radio. (yes, Elvis, the Beatles, and the Stones were the ONLY acts that existed before the 70s, we get it!) So they really are airing TT: TOS on the main network? Kind of reminds me of when they brought back blocks of WB and MGM classics amidst the CN Real reign of terror. We need a Boomerang Classic at this point, given that the original Boomerang is now made for 90s and 2000s shows.

Problem is that eventually that Boomerang would then be repurposed for cheap syndication and failed projects, like Nick Toons is. Other channels are guilty of this, most Viacom network's hitch on to one horse. But, Cartoon Network is unique given what it has access to, and what it uses is much larger.

And I thought we had it bad when Toonami decided to start airing Parker Lewis Can't Lose.
No, this wan't 1990, it was 2006.
