www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlM63GdxkIAA clip from Sasha's recent podcast with Sam Roberts. Most of you have probably seen the picture that Sam Roberts is referencing at some point (maybe even on Big E's feet!) but you might have missed the footage that was making the rounds on Summerslam weekend of fans grouped outside a hotel booing Sasha when she left without signing anything. I thought that was bad enough, but Sasha tells a story of when she received a concussion and was flown home early, and when she arrived at the airport there were fans waiting for her to sign merchandise. When she questioned how they knew she was there, they replied that they rang the airport and asked if she was arriving any time soon, and to give them a phonecall when she was on her way. Honestly, that's pretty damn creepy. I go back and forth on fans at hotels/airports, but I've just gotten back from holiday and can't imagine having to deal with people getting out stacks of 8x10's at the airport when you're already grumpy.

That's pretty damn bad and I don't blame wrestlers one bit for getting pissed over stuff like that.
One time as a kid I hung out around a restaurant because I knew wrestlers were going to be there. Now I was just a kid (about 10), but it's something I look back on now and cringe when I think about it.

The price of fame I'm afraid. Wrestlers think they have it bad, imagine being actual megastars with cult followings like Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber.
I'm not defending the creepy behaviour, but being a recognisable face is part of the job. If they(any celeb) think anybody in the world can appear on TV every week, perform in front of thousands every night and then walk through an airport and not expect people to notice them then they're fairly delusional themselves.
Calling up airports and such however, is obviously, very bad and shouldn't happen.

Lotta good interviews on Sam Roberts show lately, it's actually a good show.
What's scary about this is I remember a while back Jericho or someone had a similar rant about how fans always seemed to know his flight schedule to harass him and he could never figure out how. If Sasha is correct here, the airlines themselves are selling out celeb flight information to these stalker kinds of fans.

If they want to appear on TV every week but never have to worry about being recognized in public they can just work in GFW.

Shit back when TNA was on Spike in that forever 1.1 purgatory, Christian mentioned it was so embarrassing when fans asked him if he retired from wrestling.

I used valet cars many many years ago. Mick Foley was at the restaurant I worked . He walked outside alone and approached me asking If I had seen a black benz suv pull up , I hadnt. I told him I was a fan of his work , and them apologized to him If I sounded annoying . He said it was fine , one thing wrestlers dont like is entitled fans rushing them at airports or hotels . He says that a l of fans dont understand that wrestlers are not always in wrestling mode. He did seem geniuinely appreaciate of me telling him how much he has entertained me over the years

Thats creepy as hell. Can't blame the wrestlers for getting piased when people do stuff like that. Shit I'd probably handle it even worse.

Stalker: *doing Homer Simpson's Monty Burns voice* "Hello I'm Miss Banks. I would like my flight information please."
United Airlines Employee: "Sure thing Miss Banks. What is your first name?"
Stalker: ".............I don't know."

I have simply never understood bothering famous people. If you absolutely feel the need to acknowledge them when you see them somewhere, just politely say hi.

I've always had a golden rule with meeting celebrities.... they are obligated to perform at their absolute best at the show I paid money to see. If they are at a meet and greet, they are obligated to smile and play nice for that length of time. However, if I don't see them under either of those circumstances they don't owe me a damn thing.... if they're having a great day and are cool with a pic and chat, awesome. If not, that's absolutely their prerogative.
There is something to be said about the "Never meet your heroes" line as well.... if you have a great interaction with someone you admire, that just increases their legend in your eyes. If you happen to hit them on a shitty day and they are less than pleased to be interrupted by you, that could mar your entire idea of them and make you feel like you put your trust in the wrong person and how they personally let you down. But again, while they have to know what they signed up for, humanity has a way to break through from time to time and humanity can be uglier than anything.
The last person to get this reputation was CM Punk in that he really didn't want his privacy intruded upon. But there are still tons of stories of him being completely cool at times and there are a lot of instances where Sasha has been super cool to fans, just the ones that go viral the quickest are always the ones that went wrong.

About a year ago, I remember seeing Rob Base perform at a concert that took place at a casino resort. After the show, I saw him walking in the casino and he was clearly talking on the phone. I did not approach him because I didn't want to bother him, so I left him alone.
Anyway, the point of this is having listened to Sasha's take on the whole thing, I really see that she does not like being approached like this. If I were to see her in public, I think that I would just leave her be. If I was at a fan fest or any other wrestling convention, then I would approach her.

Can't the airports get in trouble for that? Seems like that's an ultimate invasion of privacy and illegal too.
