You're a mean one Mr Vince
Well, in WWEville they say - that Vince's small heart grew three sizes that day, but Doctors later attributed it to a shitload of Human Growth Hormone Thank you for the alternate lyrics that I will be unable to not sing this year. You're a mean one, Mr Vince You're desperate for that ratings pop The talent says they're tired You said if they don't work they're fired Mr ViiiiiiiIIINCE! You told them their Christmas bonus... Was a 20 minute talking segment!

That said they'll probably want to have a huge hook for these shows to get anyone to actually watch on TV. Yeah I was thinking they'd definitely have to be some kind of special attraction shows. Maybe do a full KOTR tourny across those two shows.

NBA and NHL players aren't on the road 300 days a year. And they have offseasons. This just seems completely pointless.

Even the NFL has a long off season after the Super Bowl ends. Heck, let's not compare other forms of entertainment to this. With TV shows, there are breaks in seasons for talent to either work other projects or rest for the new season. Circus Solie doesn't perform 300 days a year in Vegas.

It sucks for the talent, but at least it'll give me something to watch since I don't celebrate Christmas.

It sucks but plenty of people have to work Christmas Day. I've done it before and it was shit but it was the job I was in. I feel sorry for them, but they'll make good money and it's presumably a one off.

Wanna bet Kevin Owens gets the flu and doesn't work them? He's on Smackdown, he'll be working Boxing Day but will otherwise be safe from this misery-inducing fiasco.

I'm picturing the McMahon-Levesques having Christmas dinner on the stage whilst sending the wrestlers to the ring...
We're gonna get a foodfight aren't we? They haven't done a good foodfight since SmackDown 2000.

Working on Christmas sucks, it's part of my business, so I know it well. And I have a feeling it's not exactly going to be a sellout crowd or anything. So I don't see how this is going to benefit anyone.

wow that is a shitty thing to do by wwe, I'm sure they'll give the choice of working the Christmas day show or not to the wrestlers.

Sounds sh*tty, but I guess it won't be too different for the wrestlers. WWE often do a house show on the 26th/27th in MSG or another big 'home' arena. Some would be travelling on Christmas Day depending on where they live/reduced flights etc. Perhaps WWE will help cover costs of having family travel over those few days. I would guess they might have to travel on Christmas Eve just to make it? So it would still cut into what family time they would get. Crummy either way.

Who the f*** wants to sit three hours of wrestling on Christmas? At least 2.5 million people, most likely.

I've worked on Christmas and New Years at least 90% of the time over the last 12 years. It happens. 🤷🏼♂️
