I don't think credits suck "now" as much as there just aren't that many "good" movie credits period.

Unable to watch at the moment, but I take it this is (in part) about credits being constantly interrupted with post movie scenes that should've just been in the movie...?

Either have them just be the end of the movie, or do them all the way at the end of the credits so I can just fast forward. Or if I'm at a theater, I can run and piss and then come back and see it. I'm tired of having to sit through 10 minutes of credits to see a whole movie.

This is a problem that's happening a lot with TV shows too. Oh there are exceptions (ie, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead), but most shows just show the title over a snippet of music, if that (of course, this is due to shows putting in more commercials, so I understand why they do it there).

I'm pretty sure Strong Bad tackled this like 8 years ago.

Also, the end credits are often speed up really fast on TV and/or can barely be read due to don't color & size.

The Wonder Woman ending credits were BOSS. They really should have been moved to the beginning of the film, because her theme gets you hyped.

End credits I don't give a shit about since I either just want to pee or I'm going to another movie.
Openers have dwindled since most movies now just want to get started, Some of the Marvel one are good though.
I'd say the best of recent times was Spectre but sadly the opener was the only good thing about that POS
