This is the ratings they were getting during their time on FSN in 04.
Everyone beats them in it, ROH does, NJPW on AXS does, the only one that don't is LU

Imagine going from 1.5m viewers to 220,000 in the space of 6 years and STILL being allowed to air.
Imagine being the alleged number two promotion and THAT'S your reality.

Wait so their attempt to grab attention by exploiting Rosemary's suffering didn't get them a huge ratings pop, and they actually posted a huge decline in the process?

It's debatable as to whether or not GFW is the #4. I hear more about Lucha Underground, ROH and WWE buzz-wise. Not even counting NJPW crossing over.

I honestly think ROH has long since passed TNA as the No. 2 promotion: * More contracted wrestlers on roster (as opposed to pay per appearance) * Live shows (which draw more than any TNA live show in memory) * Charges for TV tapings and draws full, hot crowds * More financial backing from Sinclair than TNA gets from Anthem (speculative, but since they are able to compete by offering deals to select talent on a more competitive basis than TNA, have a budget for putting on live shows, etc., it seems like this is the case) * More fans, quite frankly No way to know exactly how many people watch ROH on a weekly basis since it's on SInclair local markets at different times, but surely it's outdrawing TNA for viewership. Or at least competitive. Not to mention just better roster, better booking, better ... everything.

Only thing I don't know about is TV ratings but since they're in syndication that stuff matters less? Not sure. But THEY probably think they're the number two promotion so that's all that matters to them. Hell, when ROH was in debt and needed a buyer, they were probably in a better position than TNA was.

Dixie took the number two company and brought it to this point.
Anthem should just cut their losses and sell this steaming pile of shit.

I'm biased, because I'm a proud ROH mark, but I think the evidence points to TNA/GFW/WTF having abdicated its No. 2 position. And I didn't even mention merch. ROH actually has some, including a cut of some Bullet Club stuff.

Realistically, the only reason why Pop will keep them is as long as they pay up, because nobody will give the company a contract at any point. Even though the person responsible for burning through two networks is gone, it's not like the new regime has offered something different in a positive way.

Yeah, TNFW has given up it's status as #2 a long time ago. When was the last time that they even had any positive buzz? There's so much stigma and damage that needs to be undone before they could ever be relevant again that Anthem or any potential buyers would be better off starting their own company.

Who do they even have left for fans to tune in for? The Hardys and Drew Galloway left. Doesn't that leave only Bobby Lashley as a draw for them, or has he left as well?
