I still really don't get the point of them having Daffney get a suitcase requiring her to strip to her underwear, with her visibly seeming annoyed and uncomfortable, and only like showing a bra strap before Lacey Von Erich attacked her for reasons that escaped me, who then stripped for funsies, I guess. Pretty sure it was the usual Vince Russo logic of "Reason to be figured out later... and by later I mean never because I'm lazy."

There was that time Jeff jumped Hogan at a Japanese press event to build what would have been a Hogan/Jarrett match with Jarrett going over.

Monday Night War 2.0, full stop.
To paraphrase Danny Zuko, I'm sure glad you didn't take any of WWE's crap, Sonny. You would have really told them off, huh?

Scaffold match with Al Snow, which I'm convinced was just them screwing with people who were reporting taping spoilers. I keep seeing this mentioned, I need a link to these fake spoilers, sounds amazing.

Oh my god, dude, you do not know true pain until you've actually seen how that angle panned out. I was marathoning weekly PPVs a few years ago right around that point and it was amazingly bad. Like, at one point, AJ Styles was taken under Jimmy Hart's wing because Hogan couldn't show up.

There's this with Hogan, and that time he was Mini Naitch and sucked at it because the only people who can believably play Ric Flair and feel like they really do lead his lifestyle are Ric Flair and Caligula. Of all the weirdly specific niches to have AJ fill.

Like, at one point, there was a point where AJ wanted to break away from SEX, so Vince Russo came out super drunk and depressed looking like the most deadbeat dad ever.

Don't forget when Larry Zbyszko showed up just to call AJ an asshole, and then they booked a match where AJ had to pin him twice in ten minutes or else AJ would have to hang out with an old dude. Or that SEX went under because Vince Russo filed a copyright claim against them in-universe. Early TNA was amazing.

I think we should also mention when AJ had a match with a near immobile Dusty Rhodes and totally got his ass beat half the time.

The stipulation to AJ's match was that he had ten minutes to pin a 52 year-old man twice or else Zbyszko would become his manager. He had to cheat to get just one fall, and didn't get the second, so for a few weeks Zbyszko managed AJ until Russo got bored of the idea.

I think this is gonna be the stipulation for every EWR match I ever book now. Loser has to hang out with Larry Zbyszko.
