So I decided to check out this new Peanuts special tonight on ABC right before Raw started and 5 seconds into it I was appalled at what I saw. The animation is HORRIBLE!
I just keep staring at the screen going "Oh no."
Anyone else feeling the way I am right now?

I'm TiVoing it right now. What's the problem, is it like Disney Pixar-ed? Its not all computer CGI graphics, is it?

i literally just gasped out loud at how horrible Charlie Brown's head got distorted when he turned it just now. did they do this in Flash? and all the characters are so damn pale.

No, it is really awful and it's just a rip off of the 70's movie when they went to camp and I am sorry to make new episodes with the man that put his heart in to it is dead just makes me sick, f u disney!

I remember one from a couple of years ago called "Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown". It used the classic animation, and it was based on the series of strips when Lucy was traded to Patty's team and started playing baseball well.

Snoopy come home was my favourite film as a child (I know, pretty depressing one to pick), and seeing Charlie Brown violated would ruin my youth.

I love the Thanksgiving episode where Peppermint Patty is inviting herself over for a Thanksgiving feast. She's talking to Charlie Brown about how she has a crush on him, and yet her voice sounds way boy-ish. Then she calls right back and says that she'd like to bring her new "friend" Marcy along. The same Marcy that refers to Peppermint Patty as "Sir."
I think we can all figure out what's going on here: Charlie Brown is getting a threesome on Thursday.
Charlie Brown = PIMP

It's not like Peanuts had the best drawings ever, but I didn't see the new one so who knows if they royally screw it up.....

I only saw the preview of the new one, and it doesn't look all that bad. I was more concerned that they tried to make the cartoon look like Jimmy Neutron. What's the big deal, anyway? How is it supposed to look?

Wait, a new Peanuts special?! Didn't see that coming.
When I was young, I loved Snoopy Come Home, but I also had a whole bunch of tapes of "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show", which I adored.

Yes, the animation was terrible, but it was pretty much standard fare for the way animation looks with computer coloring instead of painted cells.
But did you guys think Marcy was a little... odd? Especially when Patty called and she claimed that Charlie Brown was nibbling on her ear. Or when she gloated about hearing the bully scratching outside the window because she had pushed him into the poison oak.
