Well I get why they pissed off. There was a time where TNA was a step up for all the Indy guys in the business and it's not as much anymore. When AJ and Daniels came in in 2002, it was an Indy bigger than the other Indys and AJ had a try out in the WWE and it did not work out so TNA was the next best thing. Even as recently as late 2009 when Desmond Wolfe came in, him going from ROH to TNA was a step up. This would have been 2015; not only was TNA deep in some bad time shit, they couldn't pay anyone on time, they had no reason to get mad at somebody for choosing to make an actual living. But when people are in trouble they get a little bit madder and pissed off.

"You're making a big mistake by choosing the right thing and not letting us exploit you and string you along" isn't an understandable response to pressure it's what a Captain Planet villain says. TNA was trying to play guilt games with someone who they didn't see as worth enough to make a competitive offer with him and instead of being sensible and decent people who knew the situation they were actually in was even worse than what they were letting on, they decided to call him up a bunch and give him bullshit. No sympathy for someone who wants to exploit people and f*** with their livelihood being bitter that people won't allow themselves to be played.

Do you really think in all walks of life, at any companies that people always go "that is fine, go luck to you?". People get pissed when rejected, esp. when they want someone bad. Especially in the competitive World of business. Not saying they reacted the right way but I get it. Wrestlers and companies get pissed off at one another constantly. Let me repete, they were stupid but if I was a psychologist and looked at how they reacted I would easily understand what made them react this way.

TNA be like: "Look, we've got a roster full of guys who aren't making a living. What makes you so special that you should be any different?"

Let me repete, they were stupid but if I was a psychologist and looked at how they reacted I would easily understand what made them react this way. Yeah, business is competitive, and they knew that he took the offer for more money. If they can understand business, then they can understand that he's in business too, and has to make the best decision for himself. But yes, I do think that people respond to rejection with things other than multiple people calling someone's house to pressure and guilt them into taking a bad deal they know is a bad deal. When Storm chose TNA over NXT, he says Triple H was completely understanding about why he made the choice for more money for the good of his family, because Triple h could conduct himself like a professional. I don't think he calls up Juice Robinson at 3 AM every few weeks singing him Diamonds and Rust over the phone. Maybe he's frustrated that he was sitting on a great prospect who left his company to go to Japan and become a rising star, but he's sensible enough not to be a f***ing prick about it. When I have quit jobs for one reason or another, my bosses/HR have responded courteously and with some empty remarks about hoping me the best, not because they actually hope for me to succeed necessarily, but because that's how you respond in that situation. Rejection is a fact of life and taking rejection very badly and being vocally, openly pissed off about it is seen as a bad thing. That's not good business. Are you a psychologist/at all knowledgeable about psychology? Because if you aren't, then saying "if I was I would understand" positions you to come at this from an angle you can't actually come at this from. Yeah, I'm sure TNA wanted him, and they take rejection badly. But it's not "understandable" or something to explain or justify or pick apart. It's bad business done by bad people.

"I got phone calls from people telling me I was making a big mistake from that office."
That's like something you expect from a mob movie a few minutes before the guy gets whacked.

And if your first reaction was 'Threaten the person who rejected you and saying it was a mistake', you shouldn't be running a business. If anything, you should be in jail.

I'm honestly frightened of Dalton going anywhere where there's a possibility he won't have 100% control of his gimmick. It's one of those that rides such a fine line between being awesome and a complete joke and he's worked and proven himself to be accepted in that gimmick for so long, a place like GFW or WWE almost seems like he'd be starting from square one with a bunch of people who either don't understand his gimmick or don't want to understand his gimmick.
Granted, he's a good enough wrestler to get over regardless of the gimmick, but I just think it'd be such an uphill battle in either of those promotions that he'd be killed before he got a fair shot.
