I think WWE was in a blatant "screw these relationships" phase because they also separated Cass and Carmella with the draft, and Alexa and Murphy get so little time together they've been trying to find time to get married for over a year now. This is a bit off topic, but Murphy oughtta be ashamed of himself he shoplifted Alexa Bliss while she was on NXT, then soon after they're engaged she strikes gold and makes it big on RAW and now she could literally have any guy on the planet if she wanted... but she's stuck with Murphy. Mayhaps the 'we've been trying to marry for a year' thing is more Alexa realizing what her options are now that she's more successful and not just Murphy's NXT manager. I can't tell if this is a joke.

That NXT crowd might hit Paige with a negative reaction related to her antics even more than a RAW crowd. I could see the Full Sail crowd shutting down any attempt at harassing her though, too. Could go either way. I expect the crowd to shut it down. Crowds have been mostly good at selfpolicing lately, so I'm gonna go and feel positive that if anything stupid starts it'll get booed out. Xavier got Paige chants for all of two weeks before people gave up on them. Paige will actually have an advantage because she's making a return unlike Xavier, not to mention it's been months and it's mostly been forgotten except when Alberto does something stupid again. She might chants for a few weeks once the "honeymoon period" is over, but then people will start including them in their most annoying chant discussions alongside "We Are Awesome" and "CM Punk", and they'll start getting booed down a month into her return.

She's young enough she can still get her head on straight and have a good career, but she's shown no signs of doing so thus far. I hope I'm wrong. Paige is a country yokel. She'll never smarten up. Since when is Norwich in the countryside? 120k people live there.

Even as someone who's been single his whole life, I know that's not how love works. If you like someone you like them, yours or their career prospects (should) have no bearing on that, and anybody who would 'trade in' their partner because he or she is now in a better job than them is pretty damn sociopathic IMO. This honestly comes off more like something a fan with a crazy crush would say. Pretty sure that was just an attempt at humor. A kind of long winded and outlandish way to jokingly say she's out of Murphy's league.

That if one partner isn't living up to the other's level of success and achievement, then they're not pulling their own weight and paying their own freight in the relationship. It's not as uncommon as people would like to think it is.

It makes me sad to think that this could actually be a serious statement from a person. This could actually be how their mind functions... Actually I was being 110% serious. I used to adore this girl in highschool who for clarification purposes we'll nickname 'Lexi'. Well Lexi was the belle of all the balls, every guy was smitten with Lexi and asked her out to Homecoming/Prom/random football game afterparties etc. and she always turned down every guy. Since we were both in Mixed Chamber choir I got to know her more than the average joe and come to find out she was dating a college guy which explained why Lexi turned down everybody at highschool. After everyone graduated she was already engaged to this college dude, for clarification purposes we'll nickname him 'Cruddy'. Cruddy shoplifted Lexi while she was still in highschool, and what I mean by that is that he used his advanced age and access to a car/alcohol/adulting-techniques to woo her away from people Lexi's own age and people that have more in common with her. I recently regained touch with Lexi via facebook, and come to find out that after having a child together she and Cruddy have been seperated for the past 10 years (yeah I'm pretty old btw). She always regretted committing to some college guy when she should've explored her options more. This is what I believe Alexa should be doing, the plain fact is that Murphy is not even close to being in her league, he's not going to be getting a callup from NXT anytime soon (or ever) and love is just as easy to have with someone you have lots more in common with (an actual A-lister not a B-lister) as it is with the first guy you 'fall' for. It's cool if you are one of those people who believe there's only one true love for every person, but as a pragmatist who's probably lived for a decade or more longer than you and who actually has been in love before (and know why love isn't nearly enough to have a relationship succeed in today's society) I beg to differ. You're free to continue mocking my opinion on the matter though, even though I haven't done so to you.

Not women. You're making Alexa and this girl sound like things that were taken off a shelf against their will, not actual people that made their own choices, no matter how bad they were. People break up all of the time, it still doesn't mean that anyone has been "shoplifted."

No idea what this discussion has to do at all about Paige and the PC. Paige was similarly shoplifted by ADR but I'll stop commenting in this thread for the day in deference. I made my point pretty clearly, I hope.
