If she's got clean, I'm rooting for her to make something of this opportunity.

So yeah, bizarre diatribe regarding his personal aside, I think Buddy Murphy is a pretty underrated talent who had solid matches with Nakamura and Ibushi over Summer 2016. I think he will be a solid hand on the main roster one day after he finds his niche in NXT. He's still really young and has lots of experience internationally.
Anyway, I read an article yesterday that Paige's health check went extremely well and the WWE are enthusiastic about putting her back on TV. Like I said before I'm pretty indifferent to her at the point although I'm impressed she's remained in such good condition after the drugs, partying, and neck injury. Hopefully she's straightened up.

I've followed Paige since she debuted in FCW and from a personal level I've never been overly impressed with her, so if I was in a position of power I'd say the risk/reward level isn't worth it at this time. She has some talent, she's young; I'd say go healthy, get her personal life sorted out, get some work on the indies and see where things are a year or two down the line.
There's so much talent on the main roster and waiting in the wings, all of them scandal and problem free, many of them with more talent than Paige...it makes much more sense to invest in them than her.

Agreed. She's never stood out to me except for being the goth/punk one. If she were first appearing in the Mae Young Tournament, we'd be talking about her as having a distinctive look and backstory but being underwhelming as an in ring talent.

Stop it. This thread's getting sidetracked. No idea what this discussion has to do at all about Paige and the PC. Paige was similarly shoplifted by ADR but I'll stop commenting in this thread for the day in deference. I made my point pretty clearly, I hope. Let me make my point pretty clear - you are NOT to post in this thread again, not even to reply 'ok' to this post.

I'm all for Paige having a second chance on the roster. She's still so young and so talented that everything that's happened the past couple years or so could end up just being a blip on the radar. Redemption stories in sports are one of my favorite things. Guys like Allen Iverson and Michael Vick have bounced back from far worse than what Paige is dealing with in other sports, and my opinion is that their sports were better for it. I'll be rooting for her.

I am rooting for her to get her life back together. That being said, I think she needs to put some time in at the PC and then work NXT for a while. After everything that has happened, she needs to earn the trust back, but considering how young she is, she has plenty of time.

From Wrestling Observer Newsletter : "Paige was at the Performance Center this week training for a return. I believe she has gotten full clearance and now it's just getting back into shape. She's been out of action for more than one year with neck problems that led to her having surgery. There is said to be a storyline for her return and tentatively it's on Smackdown"

I could see her back by the Rumble. That'd be enough time to knock off the ring rust.

Makes sense, given the rumors that Vince is treating Smackdown Live as the B-Show again and having talents prove themselves there first before coming to the main roster. That said, I'm hoping they're mandating some minor rehab and behavioral re-evaluation for her through her training process. While she may seem okay now, it may not take long on the road to start takings its toll on her again.

Hoping she gets a hell of a pop when she gets back. For everyone's sake though please don't have her and Woods in the same segment. That could become cringe worthy

Anybody got a bad feeling that WWE is going to have a heel use Paige's personal life to get heat?

Smackdown is the best place for at the moment. Raw's women division is way too top heavy with Bayley, Sasha, Alexa, Nia, Emma, and soon Asuka. Paige would be right back where she was before her injury.
