So, by complete coincidence, it turns out my next vacation from work lines up perfectly with the upcoming TLC PPV. While Minneapolis wasn't particularly high on the old "places to visit" list, I figured why not? Another state to cross off the old checklist.
So now I'm looking for other things to do while I'm there. Currently I have the Mall of America and the Nicollet Mall. As for food I'm looking to try Jucy Lucy's from Matt's Bar and the 5-8 Club. So any other suggestions from any locals? Places to eat or visit? Any interesting museums? Anything would be appreciated.

Well I was gonna suggest hitting up the Mall of America and then getting a Jucy Lucy, but it sounds like up got that under control.

I'm a sucker for the art museums around the Twin Cities. The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Weisman Art Museum on the University of Minnesota campus are all really good places to visit, even if the sculpture garden next to the Walker isn't quite the same as it used to be.[/oldman]

Minneapolis is one of the favorite places that I've been. Loved that place. If you're into Prince the Paisley Park tour is worth a visit. When I was there there was some sort of festival of lights art display at one of the campus locations for U of M that was pretty cool so check out local exhibits as well. I, of course, visited Lake Minnetonka, it was so peaceful there. Cool low key place from what I saw, I hope to get back sometime this winter so that I can experience the bone crushing cold. It was only chilly last November when I was there.
