Just about anyone watching NJPW the past couple of years have noticed how strong the recent crops of Young Lions have been. Lots of people who've watched the most recent crops of Young Lions have been saying it may be time to bring back the Young Lions Cup. Well...the time is now! Figure Four online has the news.Looks like we're getting a six-man round robin tournament spread out over multiple shows, featuring Oka, Kitamura, Kawato, Narita, Umino, and Yagi, so age ranges from 20-31. First matches are October 12, at Lion's Gate 8. For reference, previous winners of the tournament have included Jushin Liger, Masahiro Chono, Tenzan, Kojima, Nakanishi, and yes, Ryusuke Taguchi, as well. The most recent winner was Goto back in '05. Lots of talent in this bunch, and this is still with guys like Henare on the shelf with injuries. Should be some good stuff.

This should be fun, really looking forward to this. Chrom brought it up in the King of Pro Wrestling thread, but I think this is worthy of it's own.

So if the excursion is still happening, does that mean the winner goes to ROH since they have a sort of relationship still?

Speaking of Henare, what's the status of him and Kanemitsu? Figured one of them would've been back from their injuries by now.
