I'd like Jon Hamm, personally.
Cooper in a realistic portrayal of Vince would be amazing to watch. But with a neutered, good PR script, Meh.

Are we sure Vince isn't helping with casting? This actually isn’t far off from my initial reaction. Eyeroll city as I’m sure Vince et al are looking at any way to feed this kaiju-sized ego in every way possible. Freaking sickening.

With the amount of enthusiasm he had for getting the hell out of Raw during his guest host stint, I can't say that he would be a particularly inspired choice for such an idiosyncratic role. Will Arnett is my pick.

If only there was a way to resurrect 1980's Paul Gleason. He'd be perfect: oh crap, perfect casting!!!!

This would have to be at least a 2 part movie. From Vince's beginnings to the end of Hulkamania to Monday Night Wars/XFL era through the transition to HHH being what he is today. Like a Godfather-esque film.
But there is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much accurate sleaze that would have WWE looking crazy. And without it, this movie just wouldn't be right.

This would be better news if they were keeping the insane nonsense first draft that was making the rounds. Is this available to read somewhere, sounds like an entertaining train wreck.

Because the original one that was pretty much blatant fiction didn't.

I need to find the script, because I totally want to do a tableread of it. Here's the original thread: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/558174/vince-mcmahon-biopic-works

Why do they always pick young-looking good-looking actors to play these masculine older dudes. That is like what I heard about Leo playing Teddy Roosevelt. Is Hollywood so devoid of masculine older dudes?

IIRC, the movie is supposed to go through Vince's beginnings in the business right up until the first Wrestlemania. So, technically, it would make sense to cast someone like Bradley Cooper in that role.

Bradley is one of the finest actors working in hollywood right now , I think he would fit the role perfectly. I wonder about the rest of the cast, specifically who would play Jessie the body

Ok WWE films produce movies so bad that the majority of them land in the straight to DVD section.
Why would Bradley Cooper, a real movie star, want to associate himself with such shitty product?
If that movie even gets made it would present Vince as the hero in such a ridiculous and bias way that it would make United Passions blush.

Mentioned it before .. you should watch the Netflix movie War Machine. Brad Pitt must be channelling Vince in that film. ... his character is even called McMahon. I thought it might have been his audition tape

They should get Vince's bastard son The Rock to play the role of Vince.
Sheamus can be slathered in fake tan to play the part of Hulk Hogan in the 80s.
Batista needs some kind of role in the film as well.
Or Vince will just play himself and Stephanie will play the role of Linda.
