Ok WWE films produce movies so bad that the majority of them land in the straight to DVD section. Why would Bradley Cooper, a real movie star, want to associate himself with such shitty product? If that movie even gets made it would present Vince as the hero in such a ridiculous and bias way that it would make United Passions blush. Tri-Star Pictures ain't exactly associated with the best of Sony's movies, either.
I agree with you. There is no way that this thing is gonna be even remotely accurate. A made-for-TV Lifetime movie would be more accurate.

This would be better news if they were keeping the insane nonsense first draft that was making the rounds. Is this available to read somewhere, sounds like an entertaining train wreck. Ah yes, the script that has Linda talking about how Backlund is a nice guy, but that Hogan is the guy that girls would think about trying anal with, and that's why they should push him. No, really.

I really hope this movie goes totally batshit crazy with over-the-top Vince love and ends up having Vince be a hybrid of Gandhi, Jesus and Neal Patrick Harris.

I really want that to be an actual quote, just so that we can say the wrestling boom of the ‘80s happened because Linda McMahon thought about the possibilities of doing butt stuff with Hulk Hogan.

And Linda worked in a strip club before meeting Vince. This is undoubtedly going to end up a fluff piece... but I guarantee it will be at least 100 times more factual than that script. I love Cornette's reaction to it.

There goes my hope of Henry Rollins. That.... could actually work. He's got the physique, reasonable acting chops, and he'd approach the role with a great attitude. Plus whomever is bankrolling this money pit can probably afford him.

I can't see a way a Vince biopic could possibly work while avoiding the subject of Hogan.

Can he be dubbed over with Freddie Prinze Jr.'s Vincd impressions?

Something midly interesting...
Bradley Cooper was involved in an unmade adaption of Paradise Lost...
Which includes the place where the fallen angels congregated...named Pandemonium.

Some brought up United Passions like fluff piece.
Oh man, the last 40 minutes is going to be about Vince's brave decision to do Smackdown after 9/11, isn't it?

Even still, Vince is the sort of guy that was never "young" in my mind. doesn't mean he wasn't. I mean... He looks like an old assurence salesman! Standback!

Dennis Quaid would make a great Vince McMahon. Better than any other actor really.

I don't know which is funnier Jim Cornette crying himself laughing at Linda McMahon insuitating Hogan makes girls want to do anal sex with him or Cornette singing the entire Underdog Theme.

A Vince Mcmahon biopic with WWE studios involved?
Joseph Goebbels had less propaganda in his films.

A Vince Mcmahon biopic with WWE studios involved? Joseph Goebbels had less propaganda in his films. As stated there is a very good chance that the WWE Films bought the script because the original one that was going around was 100% bullshit... (seriously listen to that video posted above you... Cornette goes pretty in depth with it.) it coming from WWE films there is at least a chance that there will be a small nugget of truth to it... not to mention be able to actual mention people by name instead of coming up with half assed parody ones.
