Two things:
1.) The Indians seem like the top-to-bottom best team heading into this. Their pitching especially, nobody has the depth and efficiency they do at this point in the season.
2.) Maybe it's just me, but MAN do these first few games seem like just really bad baseball. Pitching isn't great overall and the juiced balls thing. Especially the AL Wildcard. It's bad enough with the juiced balls and tons of Ks, but like that Judge HR. That's a double off the wall or a flyout in almost any other year in the history of baseball. It makes "big" plays in big games seem manufactured and it really takes a lot of the enjoyment out of the game for me.

He's rough around the edges for the live games but I find him pretty good as a in studio analyst The man has a great mind for the game and should be somebody hitting coach He was great in studio last year, haven't heard him call a game. Personally, I find him very likeable and think it's funny how A-Rod and Jeter have flip flopped post-Yankees. A-Rod through all his bullshit is a student of the game so when he discusses baseball he comes across as a big nerd but you can tell he loves what he is doing Jeter is going to have to open up to the media a little bit more as the attitude he had in NY as a player will not fly in Miami as an executive. I have faith he will do well but he's def learning on the job and has had hiccups already

I still find it amusing that one of the most buttoned-up players ever towards the media in Jeter is the guy who helped create the Players' Tribune, giving players a huge outlet to speak their minds.
I also find A-Rod to be an excellent studio analyst, though he isn't that great at live commentary. Yet.
Speaking of the ALDS, honestly I'm expecting the Indians to beat the Yanks in 4 if not outright sweep them. Cleveland's had their number all season long and IMO they're the best team in baseball right now even though the Dodgers had the better overall record.
Though as far as I'm concerned, the Yanks are playing with house money. I had zero expectations for this team besides maybe a slightly better than .500 record. Just getting to the ALDS is a huge accomplishment for this team and I think they'll only get better in the future as their younger talent gets more experience.

-I've said it several times, but it's worth repeating...THANK YOU METS FOR JAY BRUCE.
-Today (weather permitting) CC comes back to Cleveland. Traditionally, the Indians play against him rather well.
-If it does come to Astros/Indians in the ALCS, it's gonna be one hell of a series.

Glad to hear David Cone do FS1's broadcasts for Houston/Boston. Wish I had him for Cleveland/Yanks, but happy to see a national audience gets to enjoy him. IMO he's one of the best color commentators in baseball.

Altuve is a hitting machine man. Red Sox have no answer for this.

Yankees got to Kluber for 2 runs off Gary HR and CC gave it right back in a weird half of an inning
Looks like Edwin could be out for a while considering he had to get helped off the field

Well this postseason hasn't exactly been a barrel of laughs so far. But just as they drew it up, the Red Sox will be relying on DOUG FISTER Sunday afternoon to salvage their 2017 season.

Girardi really mucked it up there. Should've gotten a review because it didn't look like he hit Chisenhall with the ball.
Even if it wasn't overturned, it would've bought Robertson enough time to finish warming up. I would've rather him face Lindor than a struggling Green.

As usual Girardi overthinks the simple things and doesn't do a damn thing on the tough decisions You had Chapman up as soon as the inning started so Joe really messed up that inning

Being an Indians fan, I know you NEVER EVER count them out until the final out is recorded. This is why. Lindor murdering the ball and Bruce doing his thing. Again, thanks Mets.
