Please no. Be smarter than that you two.
Also Don Callis might be leaving NJPW to work for TNA. What the hell is going on?

You can go into talks all you want, I don't see how they can even afford to get Ricochet considering his New Japan and various indies. No way does he sign a contract that gives up a large percentage of his booking fees.

Money plus not having to travel That's always been the TNA pitch but is it really still that appealing at least money wise? Especially with them wanting 10% of your booking

With Richochet its likely them signing his girlfriend and having the Crists and Sami Callihan (3 of his best friends) if he takes the offer.
With Callis, its likely due to Impact's (likely permanent) move to Canada and Callis has a lot of pull and respect up north

Ricochet you sign with tna you're entering a world of pain. and the not traveling isn't as attractive anymore as it's not in Florida where most wrestlers live anymore. Yes, it's easier to get to Canada than Japan... but you still ahve the hassle of leaving the country to go to work.

Maybe this is some sort of leverage thing with WWE.

If Richocet thinks the best career option is that of a company whose timeslot will likely change two more times before the end of the year, A company that proudly enables addiction, Then I wish him well.
Chuck Taylor doesn't really irk me, His luster has worn off over the years, for me anyway.
It'll be interesting to see if Don just does a backstage part or snorts a line with Dutch and makes this tire fire his hill to die on.

Maybe this is some sort of leverage thing with WWE. Probably just seeing if he and Tessa can get some more money out of WWE. They know all they have to do is go to Triple H, and say they want to come to WWE, and Trips would give them a lot.

I remember Callis way back in the weekly ppv days having a 'memorable' authority figure feud with the legend that is Erik Watts.
Callis has denied he's leaving njpw and is definitely going to be in Osaka for Power Struggle. I imagine this could be some extra work for him.

The WWE suppose to be in talks with him too. So yeah I don't see how they could sign him and match a WWE offer. If he was smart he stay away from this company because he likely making more now and not giving 10% to anybody.

Yeah, my first thought was that he was looking for leverage going into a WWE deal. Still, as insane as it seems to work for Impact now I guess that somehow the money still talks there enough for some of the talent, as I highly doubt a guy like Ricochet would be ok working there if he wasn't pulling in solid bank. Dude could get a full NJPW contract at any moment he felt like saying yes to them, he's already walked away from a really nice contract offer from Lucha Underground, so on the off-chance this was legit and he went there I don't doubt he would have pretty high demands.
Callis would actually make a modicum of sense given that traveling once a month from Manitoba to Ontario wouldn't be that bad for him, but he does seem pretty happy with NJPW.

Also, if TNA/Impact is permanently in Canada at this point, there's also international tax issues to be dealt with, and one wonders how much that extra hassle is worth to him.

Apparently this has been said to not be true , he would walk away fron NJPW wheather on a full time or his current deal , LU which offered him a deal said would have made him the highest paid guy on the indies and paid more than anyone in NXT at the time not named Nakamura , Joe , Balor and he would still be able to work NJPW as shown.
Walk from all that just to go to TNA? for his sake this better be all NEWZ or James Storm might have a contender for the ultimate dummy award.

Rumors is that WWE was gonna hire Tessa 2 years ago,but her attitude issues stopped that.
The other guys in Bodyslam Media Productions met Tessa a few years ago and she was very standoffish and acted like she is a much bigger star than she really is.
